Hello, I'm planning to start classic again. I'd like to play a good dps class that won't get nerfed to the ground in the future patches. My favourites would be assassin or SM. Any recommendation ? Thank you

As a someone who played Sin for years and SM in classic I suggest Sin if u have low ping and know how to play sin what is all about Sin class and Sin would be easier to get gear 1 for pvp 1 for pve would be enough, not like other classes need several sets for MA MB HP MR etc. But of course if u know how to play sin and have low ping. And at next patches Sin not gonna be nerfed as far we know
And SM might be little boring if u used to play other classes and far way fragile from any other class and less protecting and run away skills

don't bother with set autism and play fister in 3.0 to have near-sin dps anyway + very fast paced sin-like gameplay + weaving -hide
generally speaking though they don't nerf classes anymore, they just power creep everything else
so play what's most fun to you

4 set for min max, otherwise 1 set pvp/pve + 3 parts acc pvp but u could also have abg d/s and do pve aswell

two separate weapons with two godstones, higher base attack speed than sin, 110 base crit, huge cc and reflects, big mobility, and you get to punch people to shit

as far as I'm concerned at least
but their animations are insanely quick and fists also have super low base attack speed

We already know sin can do this sh*t, being one shot by sorc is also stupid af... so another class who can do that... nothing will change
We just need to play a class we like and have fun !! I pity people who play a class because OP and have only fun with that and not fun with the entire class :x but that's a common mentality nowadays
