Firstly, the default kingdom you started in is one where everyone started in the same week as you. So no one there has any time advantage over you (a day or two at most). If they are getting much much bigger much faster it's because they spent real money to speed things up.

As a new player in a new kingdom, your kingdom is protected so that no one who has been playing longer than you can move into that kingdom until the protection ends. After that there's several phases of restriction that prevents older, established players from moving to your kingdom.

So to answer your question directly: no, you would have no chance at all to play against people who have been around for years growing and building; but it's not a concern as those established accounts can't go to your kingdom.

As a new player, shield, get into the best guild you can, and focus on research. Always Monster Hunt.
Search in this discord for answers to things if you're unsure. Some things might seem obvious but are actually wrong (like researching and upgrading wall - it's logical to think it's good to have defence, however it's a waste of time). Some things just have a steep learning curve.

So don't be afraid to Google or search this discord for answers, or ask questions.

The max rss I have is 744k food and 500k gold.

Now the question is there a point to attack my castle and used a lot of speedups to run half way across the map, im talking about 6-8 of them came up on my screen.
(I must of annoyed him as I sprung one of my many 4hr shield just before he got there, now they have a long walk back)

I'm sure yous all done some research, watch videos of lords mobile. It's best to decide what you want to be. Solo trap, Rally trap, Rally lead, etc. If ya want to be a rally trap focus much needed research for a rally trap only,keep ya might low as possible. Some research are not needed if ya really want to be a trap.

F2P and P2P. If your a F2P or even P2P that don't spend much. I suggest work on your WAR GEAR (MIX GEAR) No need to make blast gear. Do WAR gear only and you can upgrade it quicker and you'll be stronger faster.

Mix WAR Gear is your first priority, It will help you grow faster and save money. Those that wants to become rally leads can do that.

Ex; if you sit in range wedge, their familiar will target largest squad, so in range wedge, infantry is in the rear so I would make 6 mil t2 inf or more. With this comp, you want your range hp high as well. You would ask for t2 range reinforcement with 1 t4 infantry ( this hides the troop speed)
Fams use evil weevil, aquaris, sorcerer. You want familiar that perk at the beginning of the battle.
Heros, use rose knight, bombin goblin, snow queen, oath keeper, child of light.
It will help if you get a garrison from a guild mate to take out their buffers.
This is all f2p as well

If you are able to counter, you will take anywhere up to maybe 1.2m losses... if not you could suffer uo to 8m losses. It's best to get comfortable taking rallys from a distance before taking any upclose.
If you feel you may burn, always port into the wonders furthest away.
Unless you have to, do not hide away any troops. Especially not on tiles

Depends a lot on what your gear and stats are like and who is hitting you.

If you see what's coming and you counter it with a weaker lead, you can cap it, but it will hurt. If you get caught offline or you don't manage to switch front to counter or it's a serious lead, you'll burn.

I can say, for example, a couple of hours ago we rallied a Castle with the same T2 count as you, but they also had 2m each T4 and 300k each T5...
The rally lead was with only 560% stats and the castle burned, losing 5.4m of their 15m comp on the first hit.

Most rally leads are starting with 750% stats, and strong leads are pushing over 1000%. One of those will wreck you.

I suggest you lose the T3, increase your T2 and make a lot more T4. Never get caught in fury. Don't let your Antiscout drop

If you're a really smart hardcore solo trap, then making a wicked T3/2 comp and not using the might of academy 25 is absolutely doable and worthwhile.

This isn't much of a f2p option though. It is, however, a good starting point for a solo trap, as you can practise trapping and possibly cap some smaller leaders who yeet in , and you might earn some speeds or jewel chests to boost your trap.

No, VIP isn't worth gemming. Unless you're a very high spender and money is no object. But if you have to ask what's a priority to spend on, your scale of "high spender" isn't that high

After unlocking t4, the main thing you spend gems on is:
-Shield or Antiscout (if you don't get them for free from guild gifts - you will in established guilds)
-Relocate,
-size boost (active warring use a lot of size boosts if you're really lead or solo attacking bigger targets... Or if your guild just can't fill a rally)

• Tycoon (but if you're high spending you can buy token pack which is better value than gemming - Tycoon is best gem use for f2p)
  Jewel chests (again, P2P can buy the pack but for f2p / low spender it's a valid option for getting jewels)

Most important: saving up a decent gem buffer for bargain store and gifting.

Bargain store: event comes around at totally random intervals, could be every month or not for six+ months, but it's one of the best things in game to get rare items and usually needs 500-900k gems in hand to get everything so it's advised to just save up and keep a decent gem stock buffer.

Likewise gifting. Being able to trade your gems to get RSS can become invaluable at higher stages in the game, when you need to boost 10m troops all at once to rebuild after a big event like KvK of Baron, pulling that RSS out of bags is a bad idea, so you gift gems to smaller accounts in exchange for their RSS. Extra helpful for smaller players in your guild to help them grow as well.

Bottom line: nothing is important to gem. You can save them up. Because one day something will happen and you'll wish you had a big savings of gems (like your leader gets capped by a trap and they migrate to a kingdom you can't go and demand a random in gems), or the aforementioned bargain store.

You don't have to spend them just because you've got them.

Keep an army or two of t3, but only train t2 from now on. t3 lower the morale of an army they're in once t4 is unlocked.
If you want to train troops faster, get the Hadrox set of monster gear, and use 1-2 barracks, 3-4 infirmaries, and the rest manors. Unlocking the Watcher Hero (through specific hell events that you must save up for) can further increase your training speed. You'll get 2 medals per watcher hell event, except 1 during hunting hells. At castle 25, that bumps up to 3 medals but the requirements for stage 3 are much higher.
I do not have an answer for the equipment portion of your question, but I can direct you to the Equipment channel of this server, or another member of the server can answer it here. I have that channel muted since I'm inexperienced in that area.
"Hunt in a row limit" refers to the boost that you receive each time you attack the same monster. After your first hit, you will (usually) do more damage. The boost is capped at 25 hits in a row. You can see your current limit by clicking on your profile, then the magnifying glass on the left, then looking under "Hunting boost"

But then they do a teardown and rebuild manors to boost troops in one big go, and then rebuild Infirms to go back into war

Pretty much, if you do all the daily quests, collo, train troops ( prefer t2 t4... if you need t3 don't waste too much time on t3 troops..)
Do hero stages for elite and challenge... the heros all have different passive/ when deployed stats.
Try to complete vergway, artifacts.
Be sure you are monster hunting and collecting gifts.
In research tree, DO NOT research the defense or upgrade defense.
Save your guild coins, if you do spend them, be sure you have at least 1 migration scroll... spend other guild coins on jewel chests.
When building gear, rares items such as halos for bon appetite gear are hard to get. So build only one ambrosia cup until gold, dont forge multiple gears or multiple pieces that use halos..... it cost 256 commons to make 1 gold.

Upgrade buildings as you go. Just know once you get above c16 you are in battle fury long enough to get rallied.
As a good guide for heros
Bombin goblin, rose knight,
Infantry; oath keeper, demon slayer, sea squire, soul forger
Range; tracker, snow queen, death archer, black crow
Cavalry: child of light, death knight, night raven

Be sure you get to pact 4 familars as quickly as you can, they offer great advantages that help early on.
There are plenty of videos out there that can explain detail on all aspects or if you have a particular question ask here.. its a lot to learn and do... but have fun and get those kills up!

Or do my troops have to actually die for them to count as killed? But why would anyone give more RSS than you'd use doing the fake helps? Most guilds have someone who can do help and cancel on a low level farm, or if you're new enough, you get full bar anyway in a guild pressing help just for normal building and research.
Besides, you have to be in the same kingdom.

Also the system periodically random relocates dead castles out to the edges of the map after a time. However it's random, and the more castles get burned the more likely they are to be considered "still active".

I love the free resources of dead castles around my hive. But for new players, it's often felt that they attract more bigger players to burn for the RSS and maybe catch a dropped shield at the same time.

The reality is, if you're that new of a player, the dead castles provide extra protection from attackers if they can't park right adjacent to your castle, and big opponents probably have your hive bookmarked anyway.

@round pelican it's normal, so kvk start times is on a random rotation of times. I think they do it to not cater to a certain area with a benefit. When I first started playing kvk was always at server reset and people complained so they started to rotate times.

Actually both KvK and guild fest are every 3 weeks.

KvK over a 24 hour period during a weekend, followed by guild fest beginning at the daily reset every Monday (Sunday night for some later time zones), guild fest lasts a week. Then there's the week after guild fest when you're in post-gf hangover, and the week before gf when you dread that it's coming.

ye helmet first is just bad in general it's either 2nd or 3rd piece if you love your mix more than blasts

some do boots mythic - chest gold - helmet mythic as a balance between getting food positivity and mix stats (and just use firewall in their mix set for the time being)

It's not a bad mix set. I was less advanced in mix gear than that when I started my champ armour and I don't regret it at all. I almost never use the firewall plate that I eventually finished after a long time even though it's still on my mix set quick swap, I balanced with jewels a bit, but you only need to actually use that if you're actively defending a rally in mix gear.

We used to have a 1,3b account in the guild who was constantly getting zeroed. I kicked him because he was useless even at that might. He'd rebuild to 1,4b, forget Shield, everyone in the kingdom knew his comp and he didn't even bother you change name or move. No Antiscout. Just zeroed again and again.
