Ideally, kill whichever is the highest level monster you can kill with a full bar of energy.
Unlock saberfang and use the ability to kill a lv3 or lv4 now and then.

No, they need more. It's approximately 4x the requirement for each level up.
So for killing one lv2 , you could kill four lv1.
If you can kill 4-5 lv2 with your full energy bar, you'd probably be able to kill a lv3 (though unless you have Monster hunt research maxed and half decent hunting gear, most people can't solo kill a lv3 without using bag energy - established players who have maxed hunting forget this)

But the higher level monster you kill, the better the rewards.
Unless you just wanted RSS in bags - lv1 monsters drop that the most.

In general, just kill lv2 , or team up with a few friends in your guild to kill a lv3 or lv4 together. Get more gems, chance of rare drops, and whole guild gets a better gift.

I’m interested in seeing a table of stat increases for each hero, level, rank, grade, and trophy

It does show the individual pieces of data. I don’t think you can find the amount of p-atk and m-atk each level increase will give for each hero at one time, though. You would have to record that info yourself each level up, rank up, grade up, and after each new trophy is equipped. That kind of table of info would be really nice! But like I said, I doubt anyone has put the time into creating that yet.

Rank and trophies are better than grade if you are doing stages/colo. grade is mainly for war or administrative abilities like cons speed or cav atk etc.

I’ve heard it both ways. I’ve heard both give increases to stats, though I know grade is also how you increase those bonuses and rank is how you unlock new abilities.

I’m trying to find out if the stat increases from grade are better or worse than the stat increases from rank and trophies.

I don’t think anyone has ever paid attention and compared or put a guide together or anything, including me, so nobody can say for sure.

It’s a non-issue for those that already cleared the hero stages and hit level 60 and hit gold rank 8 for all their heroes. I’m trying to clear hero chapter 7, so it matters a lot to me right now 😂

For hero stages worry about rank. If you are rank 8 already and can’t clear or if you are at the point where you can’t get to rank 8 without progressing then go for grade. Can you upgrade rank now?

No there's no reason to keep lower tier traps.

However, you should do some research before continuing any more wall development. It's generally considered unnecessary at best, detrimental at worst to upgrade your wall.

Having a big wall offers no benefit. It only stops the smallest of baby armies without gold heroes from attacking, and this is irrelevant once you're c25 (which is not far into the Game). Walls provide no protection at all, even a huge 2b might castle will have their wall broken by a single solo attack (won't kill any troops, but will break the wall).
So the wall is pointless. All it will stop, realistically, is people who send low tier hero-less marches to raid RSS after you're zeroed.

The wall is detrimental because it takes a long time to heal (up to 60 days for a maxed wall - though you can reduce it to 2 days with mole shaman familiar, it's still a hassle) and you can't enter Dragon arena with a broken wall. There's many, many people out there who don't participate in DA simply because of wall healing (and they aren't willing to waste gems or regular speeds on healing the wall).
Additionally, wall is a lot of might - which people at very beginner stages think is a good thing, but established players go out of their way to avoid extra might and most really big players regret their wall might (and quest might) and regularly beg IGG to release an update allowing it to be reversed.

I can tell you that T3 are the worst troops

When you unlock T3, only make enough to do basic stuff to tide you over until you unlock T4, and just make T2. Avoid using troop speed boosting until you have T4 unlocked.

Unless you're building a rein trap, you want roughly even amounts of all 3 troop types, at least 1m each T4 and at least 3 times as much T2. About 250k siege for Walkback and enough T1 to soak pyris hits and send gathering armies.
That's the minimum starting point to take a rally.

Nothing wrong with being f2p, but there's no short cuts. It's a long grind. But totally doable.

If you want to kill it wait till it is at 30% then use string heroes to hunt, but till that points usually everyone hits with 1 hero, so doesn’t die too fast and they get more reward.

1- Amy size boost 5%, 20%, 50%.
2- heroes, maxed hero give 10 thousand army troop space.
3- castle level, level 25 will make you able to send a 200,000 troops in one march
4- special circumstances: gathering, there is gathering research that makes you able to send 50k more troops if maxed.
Darknest: there is a research that makes you send 50k more troops,
