Equal mix of infirmary and manors is fine for newer players. When you get stronger you can go full manors for big troop boost or full infirmary for defending / attacking to reduce deaths

the vials are ultra rare materials

as you play the game, you will see that this is where the bulk of the money comes from, the rare materials

they drop so rarely from monsters and chests that you will build up hundreds to thousands of the other materials for a monster, while building up very little of the rare materials

one common misconception about monster is that more damage = more rewards. but rewards are constant, and only go up if you use the 10x damage or whatever multiplier you have

and so you will have to upgrade those amor and lance over time slowly, and get some good rng

Having enough t3 to attack is important in newer kingdoms with t2 buffers. Once you get close to t4 than you can start substituting t3 for t4.

Well, you definitely want to send as many troops as possible.
But it depends on what you're attacking

Basics for newbies to start attacking:

1. Put on anti scout.

• this means bigger people can't see your comp and might hesitate to attack you.
• the down side is if you're very small some big people might solo you anyway.

2. Size boost (if you have enough troops, it makes a huge benefit in solo attacks, could be the difference between the enemy burning or capping you, but at the least you will reduce your losses)

3. Use the appropriate heroes and gear to match your troop type.

4. Pay attention to the counters - inf > range > cav (it's like Rock paper scissors).

5. Don't send more troops than you have infirmary space. Unless you're willing to lose them all.

Practice rallies on darknests. That's literally what darknests are for; rally practice.

If that's what you're attacking...
I'd set cav to attack.
Reason: yes there's T3 range in there, but a lot of T2 inf. It's all about morale, those T2 inf will go down.
And: most people have inf front as default. If you don't know, assume inf front and cav blast it.
Additional hint: that person got cav reins so they're probably setting a cav front, but I'd still hit cav, because cav on cav is better than them seeing you sent range and putting an inf front to counter you and you get wrecked by the 1m T2 (this is all assuming you're all kinda noobs)

However: much better if you can test the front.
If the opponent is online, and you're that inexperienced, just don't hit it. They can counter you easily.
If you're certain they are offline with a cav front, then yeah range and go hard because it will die

Or still go cav and you'll win regardless ;) cav front is always a mistake

Being shielded is very important as a new player while you build your castle and troops up. Set reminder on your phone for evey 23 hours 45 minutes to refresh 24 hours shield

If you can't yet afford to shield, you need a better guild.
Also:
Make use of the shelter. Be diligent! (Set alarms).
You can hide your troops under your guild mates shields. You need to co-ordinate with the guild a bit for this, as your troops will be sent back if your guild mate refreshes their shield or relocates their castle.
Send a reinforcement or garrison to any guild mate with a long shield on and your troops will be safe. Some guilds have a bank or someone who puts 3 day or 7 day shields on and you'll be able to hide your troops there. Just be careful because as mentioned, as soon as they redo their shield your troops are sent back so you need to organise.
If you don't ever leave any RSS in your Castle (always send to bank) and never have a leader out or troops, you won't get burned much and you won't lose anything.
Fully maxed you can hide around 3m troops

About hiding/protecting troops I'm a little bit clumsy for that

T5 is the upgraded version of T4.

In order to unlock T5 you must complete the "gear" research tree which in turn requires you to complete certain other research trees like upgrade military, economy etc.

You create luminous gear through the lunar foundry in your turf (unlocked in "gear") tree.

The foundry generates lunite which is required to make luminous gear. Once crafted, head on other to your barracks and select your t5 unit to train. This deducts from your t4 amount.

Note for the research you need archaic tomes. Around 22k I believe.

For watcher building hell events, yes. An infirmary from Level 1 to level 24 4 times will complete it without the need for spending gems on the gold hammers

You'll need 12-13 days of speeds and just around 100m of each rss

I assume you mean for attacking another player. There are loads of different heroes available, and the ones you use depend on the troop type you're attacking with. For f2ps, the best heroes for attacking are rose Knight, bombing goblin, watcher (army attack heroes)
oath keeper, Slayer, Scarlet bolt, soul forger, sea squire (infantry heroes)
snow queen, tracker, black crow, death Archer (range heroes)
child of light, night Raven, death Knight, sage of storms (cav heroes),
Then you also got boommeister which is the only f2p hero with passive attack stats

There are tons of p2p heroes and I can't mention em all.. and you also got the 11ks and the passive heroes

There's no simple answer to this. It depends a lot on what your goals are for the game. If you want to be a rally lead, filler, solo artist, push for Baron, troop hoarder...
It's kinda already too late to be a really successful trap, but trapping is usually a temporary state anyway.

You should decide if you want to get t5 troops or not (most people do because they're the strongest, but it's very P2P and needs regular spending over time to heal).
Then there's things to focus on like counters / sigils (both are important - counters for your own attack stats, sigils to boost your guild for wonder battles as a filler).

The biggest advice I can give is: don't do stuff without taking the time to learn what you're doing.

It's really easy to race through stuff and throw a bunch of money in to progress (nothing wrong with that), but there's a steep learning curve and a lot of silly mistakes that people make that are wasteful or even detrimental. Getting advice on which gear is the right set to make and which familiars are the priority to train / awaken etc will serve you so much in the long run.

But I’ve used all my turf quest turn ins, used all my energy for monster hunting, and can’t use unlimited bravehearts yet. So I’m stuck waiting for the IGG drip.

First of all if you know any of the titan player (over 1.8b and all gold or better gear) very few waste time or resources on t3. More t2 are needed for meat shields and cheaper to train. Because you don’t have t4 yet you still need t3 (about 400k each except siege) train only t2 except siege to over 2m each type. This should help you for solo even if it is a titan hit. Rally hit is a different animal. Need a couple million more each t2 for rallies. Alway keep about 30k t1 for familiar pyris hits.

Yes, it is worth buying shields with gems. If you don't protect your stuff you can't grow. However, as a very small account you can use this method to save your gems up to a point where you can afford it more comfortably. Still always use a shield if you have a day when you can't guarantee you'll be online to redo your shelter etc.

Always send heroes to gathering tiles do not send your leader - this gives you bonus hero exp.
Try to gather the highest level of tile you can. It's impolite to gather tiles you can't finish all in one go, especially if you leave it half empty, but if you resend to the same tile and finish it, there's no rule against it.
Yes, make gathering gear.
Set your talents to include as much gathering boosts as you can.
Don't ever sit with idle armies. Always be gathering; that's free RSS you're getting.

A few months ago we were in a kingdom where there was one Castle who put his leader out on a camp, not next to his castle, just random place. I capped it. Then after executing, the next day I saw a camp owned by the same guy. Again: leader. It was clearly just his habit to always put leader on a camp (Castle was never ever shielded) and within a day of executing, I could always find the camp. I loved that guy. But then they migrated 😭

Don't rush with unlocking fam attacks. The red orbs are really slow to get.

Starting with basic cheap ones that double up for wall defence is a good start. Evil weevil and aquiris are very good for that. Then tempestite as a cheap multi purpose stacking familiar.
After that you want to focus trickstar, goblin, gemming gremlin equally.
And Gryphon once you have some yellow orbs

I dont think there's a fixed amt, there's a drop rate per 100 chest, so if you open 100, you have a high chance of getting atleast 1 gryphon core

I tried to hit some loaded players who had around 200k might each and 0 troops killed, they are all in the same alliance and with almost equal mights, all gather the whole day and whenever i attack theres a sheild the next second..how is it possible? all 28 of those players auto sheild ..are those bots?

It's use 80% of your tokens, not lose ;) there is a difference.
And yes, once you have T4 unlocked, Tycoon is probably the best, most worthwhile thing to spend your gems on. Just don't do it expecting to get a jackpot and you'll be happy with the items you get from it. Especially if there's a Watcher reward for completing the hell.
