People use these numbers to talk about troop compositions, but I haven’t fully understood them. Say, if someone said a castle had 646, do they mean 600K INF, 400K ARCH, and 600K CAV? Is it a rounded number to the nearest hundred? Would you even say the tier of troops? Is it proportional in any way?

And so, if that numbering was true, would you ever use 10 to say 1M? What if target had various messy troops of different tiers?

Short explanation. Normal march is 200k troops without research and other boosts so those refer to composition of each unit that is being requested

848 is basically 80k inf, 40k range and 80k cav which totals 200k normal troop capacity normally

Using that format if you average send 200k troops to rallies, forts then all you have to do is input the numbers being requested. 947- 90k inf, 40k rng, 70k cav to total the 200k in a normal march.

And it's always in hundreds cuz it's in hundreds that can be sent to rallies.
Haven't seen it used for castles because there isn't going to be an even comp for each troop type and the different troop tiers

Think of sigils like jewels. Each wolf sigil gives a certain amount of wolfs , so the more you have in that equipment, the better the boost is. How is the boost calculated? Every 16 wolf sigil units give 1% army atk, so if there's 1600 sigil units in the rally it's 100% .
As a reference, a blue sigil gives 8 units , so 0.5% , if you have that in helmet and legs, 2 blue ones , that's 16 sigils and 1% army atk

You need to be using that equipment WHEN joining the rally , as soon as you send the march you can use another gear , it only registers once

Invest time and effort into your artifacts, familiars, and hero's that help boost your rss. In the game you can either have food or an army. Letting it sit at 0 won't hurt your troops. You can also send out gatherers to fields and other tiles to add extra rss

Not dumb, we all started from somewhere. Your troops still get fed even if your bar sits a 0 with your farms in your turf and gathering helps

Also being a part of guild that has a "bank" (rss holder) is helpful when you get to a higher level and things start costing a lot more rss. Generally R4 & R5 players will provide guidance and help throughout your development. If you aren't getting what you need you can always leave and join another. Always read their guild board for their requirements are. Most do not accept blind applications so you will need to mail the person named or an R4 or R5 member

Siege are actually useless once you get to a certain level the might of you / the rally is enough to break the wall without the use of siege

The higher the level of the troop the slower they move siege is the slowest and is not a necessary troop type beyond t2

For those that don't know each troop type is weak to another.
Infantry kill archers
Archer kill cavarly
Cavarly kill infantry

Each troop type will also injure/kill their same troop type
