Upgrade atk ones... Ignore research, construction etc... Don't focus them... Kinda spread your books and brushes to upgrade multiples... Like having a handful of them at lv6 can give more stats than having 1 at lv10

In Ge at the beginning there is a safe zone that one can attack you in, you can also gather and do darknest rallies to get points to complete your guild and solo journey done.
The bad part is darknests start from level 2, there are no level 1s one, so you'd be left with only gathering and hitting monsters, also do make a presence in the rallies for occupying the Relay towers as well. There are some points to be gained there as well.

Spires only give u more pact that u can merge (work like the barrack). So this depends on how active u are, make sure that ur merging time can cover ur night's sleep

Also try to research Pact 3 asap & start merging them as soon as it's unlocked

the level is mentioned there because you shouldn't collect turf quests at all past that,it is ok to get them while they're still giving you some exp for faster leveling up.

if you're not spending I wouldn't recommend rushing the castle level, as some upgrades, and the researches later on are heavy on resouces, so get your secondary buildings up to castle level, then upgrade the castle, after a certain point you'll be able to stop doing that and focus on the castle, you'll get the feel for it when it's time to do that. Alternatively you can make yourself hyper accounts for the resources.
Also at higher castle level events do require more points to complete them.

first, out of all you shown the basic attack are the ones that are for any use for now. you do get jewels from Guild fest, jewel chests are sometimes as reward in hell events. and you can buy rare jewel chests with guild coins.
also keep in mind that 4 blue jewels will give you more stats than 1 purple jewel.

there isn't right or wrong between those, if you want to play as a trap, then make a trap, and if you want to play as a filler or smth else maybe then t4.

the very first thing you should spend gems on is the 3 buildings required for unlocking t4 troops, Battle Hall, Prison and the Altar.

and also the Treasure trove as well.
