wsg guys need a lil advice, im not new to the game but its been a hot min since ive done trapping, the idea was to just do 1 fam slot with jade wyrm on wall lv.10, would this work well as opposed to say, your typical stackers or +80% fams or atk fams on wall instead? I'm using 2 inf 2 rng 1 cav hero on wall all army heroes + oath keeper, and im going for a heavy t2 inf/rng comp in inf wedge. jade activation would probably be around 1-1.5m troops lost so its mostly for counters or say inf on inf.

Cav wedge is odd, I haven't seen anyone use it so hard for me to say what happens, inf phal on the other hand is the standard way to send mix and the point of it is exactly what happens to you, keeping the range alive for a walk back

On a castle usually the best way to counter anything is more stats or troops, if you are already in range phal for those mix rallies there's not much better you can do. (Other than the mix rallies with 12+ on inf those are better taken in inf wedge) You could get your wall broken beforehand to save time on them having to break it since mix is a battle against time to kill their troops as fast as possible but that also means they would do more DMG to you.

Send ttroops to guild bank if your guild has one it will save a lot of gems (if you can consistently shelter than I'd do that but once you pass shelter limit use the bank when you can) (also it doesn't have to be bank any player with a remaining shield time with more than the time you need will suffice)
