Does it matter if an invader sends in inf pha and only has range does it do something? Like boost then or som?

phalanx is only like... which troop engages which troop first. For example, inf phalanx would mean the infantry would mostly get wiped out first before the range, cuz the range troops are in the back in that 'inf phalanx' mode.

But in range phalanx, for example, the range troops are in the front, so it gets hit first. Benefits: More effective if the 'enemy' has a lot of cavalry attacking, so that it counters them, without the infantry getting countered.

eh... just don't get confused by 'range', 'cavs', 'infantry' by traditional human sense, but as 'named troops' that simply counters another type of troop.

(for example, don't expect infantry troops to have more hp than other type of troops, such as range, cuz that's not how that works.)

Don't rush it. But do it well within time. I know people who stick with castle 24 assuming hell events etc are easier. But there are a lot of benefits of castle 25 as well including but not limited to more army limit, higher academy level and other buildings, etc

But that's what the challenge is telling you to do, complete more and more admin and guild quests till you're able to win that challenge

Turf quests are basically only giving you might and exp. In the long term this will be useless might that you cannot reverse. And the more might you have, the costlier it will be to move kingdoms, bait enemies to attack you (if you plan to trap), etc

It looks tempting, especially when you're rushing to level 60. But ask any old player, he'll regret clicking those turf quests

That's the reason people use heroes even in a leaderless marches as well. To get the squad attack and the other buffs

You'll not cap rallies with that comp. Atleast not from strong rally leads. Siege a few 100k is sufficient. Suggest not training it exclusively. Once you get the hell drider familiar skill convocation, it will keep giving you enough t4 siege

For taking a rally from an avg mythic rally lead, say 850%+ stats , I'd say have atleast 2m each t4 with a basic f2p mix over 450%

Solos you should be able to cap easily with your goal comp

Stay in range wedge and only swap if you know whats coming (Doesnt apply to mix rally, research accordingly). This should work for eating any decent rally and stat that are barely 400% mix.

Phalanx counters enemy better. Like cav phalanx with kill enemy inf faster than cav wedge. But that is only valid if you have sufficient troops in both cases.
If you're low on specific types or say enemy is sending 3-4 inf rallies, then defending in wedge might be better since your losses won't be only cav and your losses will split between inf and cav. Then you will still have sufficient cav to defend the other inf attacks

Altar is basically the boost you get after executing the prisoner you have. There's two ways now - either you wait the natural time and execute it after 2-3 days. An execute button will show up in your prison after 2-3 days.
Second option is to use a license to kill. Where you can execute the prisoner instantly. However licenses are pretty rare especially if you're f2p. Maybe through some events or kingdom tycoon you get some. Otherwise licenses need to be bought via packs

for anyone with the same question, you get one Novice Relocator and you have to you use it in the first 3 days of your account

Now I have another question, there is that problem with the food always on 0 because of the size of the troops!!
Is there a workaround this or a good conventional strategy to follow?
I know I should keep it in the bags but when I use food from the bags for build or research It remains sometimes large amounts of it and gets eaten in no time! so what is your experience with that?

There's a couple of work arounds for food draining too quickly

1. Gather or attack other castles whenever you need. But this will be restricted by time and your strength to attack others.
2. Use bags. This will be limited again because in new guilds, everyone will be equivalently new and not much hunting to fill bags.
3. Have an initial bunch of high tier troops. Do troop based things like adventure log, clear the turf skirmish, then after this you basically need troops for only fighting, rallies or gathering. So if fighting and rallies are not on your list right now, then after clearing adventure log and skirmish, you can just kill off your high tier troops and make all farms. You'll become a food hyper i.e. you'll be making food over all even though your few handful of t1 are eating some away as well. This is what I did on my small ones. But only because fighting or darknests was not my priority on them.
4. Pay and buy champ gear. Get champion Armor. It has a stat to reduce upkeep i.e. counter the effect of your troops eating away food.
5. Make another secondary account to store food you gather, acquire by attacking others, and supply it to yourself when needed.

There may be more workarounds. These are just some that came to my mind right now. Please correct/add to the list if someone has something better

I am trying to calculate roughly how many speedups I will need to complete the 191 pt "Increase Might (Troops)" which requires 4,096,000 might, using either T3 or T2.
IF I have it right, it costs an absolute crapload less speedups to use T3 instead of T2.
Would anyone be able to confirm this please?
(I am talking somewhere in the vicinity of 10 days difference).

In ballpark figures, I got this:
It will take about 16 lots of T3 to get 4,096,000, costing 1d 9h 40m speedups per lot
It will take 47 lots of T2 costing 16h 50m per lot.
Multiplying that out, I get 23 days speedups per T3 for that quest, but 33 days per T2.

That just seemed so far apart I thought I must be doing things wrong.

quick question about def jewels.
I have, say, a cav blast set. It will only ever be used with cav (thus the blast designation). None of my gear is gold yet. I only have a grey saber jewel to put in a gear item as the 3rd jewel, but I do have a gold cavalry def jewel.
Why should I NOT insert that def jewel?

The defence only give a small boost for your troops but in this case I would put the defence jewel sinds the boost is still a little bit I am 800m might and still have the defence jewels in blast gear becouse I rather use my really good jewels in my mix gear

The defence jewels are basically free sinds you get them anyway while you work on the other jewels so you can just delete it when your done with it

There are 6 forts and a base in the middle of the kingdom (map)
They have a shield, but every week the shield drops. Then you can with your guildmates try to conquer it, the forts give troop stats and base gives a bunch of perks (titles, kingdom boosts, chests for guild,...)
When they open you and your guild have to try to take it. By holding it a certain time (I forgot the exact time) after what it will shield. It will then give you that perk until the next War of wonders (or WOW in short).
You have to stay realistic though, if your guild isn't among the strongest of your kingdom you shouldn't try to compete

Personal choice. Realistically in my opinion, The skins are only worth as cosmetic upgrades for all f2ps. People are going ham to get all 3. Tbh I like the tree skin in lanterns way better for cosmetics, so I am working on that instead. Combat shop I didn't even dedicate too.
In terms of value, everything in the shop is poorly valued. So just go by preference. And yes would be smart to save up for something better like exchange or 120% or maybe some other event that gives you better value for speed training

But say you're anyways training for kvk or speed building just for regaular purposes, then sure, make use of the event. But also remember, the event is long. There's gonna be likely atleast 2 more GF in between. maybe an exchange or two as well. So its better to overlap as much as you can

Q1. It means you select which heroes you will use and level up those and only those. Don't even hire other heroes You might need to hire and level up maybe just a tiny bit a couple of extra heroes just so you are actually able to unlock other heroes that are further along in the skirmish. But as minimal as you possibly can.

Q2. Talents are changeable, so it's not a huge disaster if you don't get it perfect first time. For attack stats you want the left side and prioritise as far to the bottom of the tree as you can reach.

Q3. Yes that's right, but to be clear - level up the building of the wall, don't do wall research. And you'll need to level up other buildings along with your Castle to unlock higher Castle level upgrades. It's perfectly fine to have a whole lot of RSS buildings and manors while you're building your trap - generating RSS is a good passive income and very useful to build up a big RSS stash, especially avoid using your bagged RSS for economy stuff - save it for when you're actively in war. Traps who can't heal on the fly because they're out of bagged RSS are kinda screwed.
Once you're built and ready to start active trapping you can demolish RSS buildings and excess manors to give yourself every advantage with keeping your might svelte

Heroes with army attack - Bombin Goblin and Rose Knight are crucial. Assuming you're staying f2p , Watcher if you can unlock him (he's actually the best) and you want one of those three to be your leader. Trap accounts commonly choose Bombin Goblin, though to my eye when I see him I think "Hmmm trappy", because people who aren't trapping tend to use Rose Knight, and Watcher is definitely the best - though I'd also be suspicious of small castles with Watcher at gold. He isn't easy to get (I also wrote a guide on that). Then pick your best heroes that give the most attack stats, like Snow Queen for range is a very good choice.

There will be various stages in there. Some normal stages some elite stages. Elite stages give you medals for a hero. You have to complete a normal stage to do an equivalent elite stage.
Once you clear a stage with 3 stars, you can click it again to sweep right through it.
As for using one team to the end will not work. Initially you'll have to use whatever you can get. But eventually you'll optimise your hero teams. Some stages will be tough as well. For good combinations and tips, you can refer to YouTube.
As for which heroes to get to gold first, I'd suggest upgrading trickstar, scarlet bolt and sage of storms first. They give substantial research and construction speed.
Work on getting the aquiris familiar. It has a skill that gives you extra 80-100 sta everyday. Most useful skill at the beginning

First of all the atack your troops do ofcourse after that the troop hp then the army hp then the defence stuff

Ofcourse some research give boost for your army the familiars I'll get back in a sec what fams are best to go for first the artifact hall is a pretty good way to get stronger that a lot of people forget about for the artifact hall you only want to do the attack and the hp

These 2 familiars are best to spent your orbs on first they help from the start of the battle unlike some other fams where you first have to lose some troops before they activate and these fams also work for every troop type

1 by 1 increases your damage every hit, so you'll do more damage overall and more likely to kill it

There's a cap to the number of successive hits till which your damage increases, after that it's consistent to that highest number.
But it's good to single hit till that damage cap is reached
