If you're really a low spender, you can benefit from a lot of good things like tomes during bogo

Crafting gear doesn't really impact you as long as you don't spam a whole lot of gear at once

That $1 pack is already known to be most valuable overall and with BOGO its even much more but they seem to be making changes to that... yeah if they keep doing it.. what you suggested is what players have to do but still the value of 5x$1 pack will never be equal to $5 pack we would purchase.

IGG is indeed counting on the type of comment you made and that means they will succeed and we wont ever be getting that pack in BOGO again.

I am glad the players community is adaptable to changes IGG makes to make a fool out of them.

its an occasional 1+1 deal you get for a duration of 2 days. you get a coupon you can claim on any mall pack. Needn't be the first iteration of the pack. It could be you buy the $5 simply and then use the coupon on the $20 version of the same pack.
So its a pretty useful deal

Let it snow is one of the best value packs in the game right now... 120 champ chests alone for 599 diamonds is already decent since its fairly similar to rising champ value with 1+1...
On top of that you get astralite, star scrolls embers, speeds and the various other chests. I don't understand where you're coming from with this take especially considering in terms of what it offers its probably the best pack in the game considering the money spent.

I have been gradually accumulating diamonds using monthly/weekly pass and I will have enough for full run of packs, that is 17500 diamonds during the next b1g1 offer.
I am doing this one-time for elite lab/gifting indeed and don't plan on spending such huge amounts, mostly I might stick with just 99/499 diamond packs, very very occasionally after this.

I don’t plan to be involved in doing war rallies myself as it requires much more spending. I'll still mostly play filler role when it comes to that.

In this game, I mainly want to be good at monster hunting, darknest 6 rallies, and anything that helps me do the events with little ease and score better in guild fest. If I might attack other players that would be mostly during kvk. (Indeed, if I see myself strong enough, I might attack easy targets, but I really don’t care much about it.)

I had initially thought of going for rising champions pack. But I found that it’s way expensive to get any good benefit from champion gear overall.
But, now I want to re-consider my options as below.

1. best packs to go with if not champ pack ??
2. does it make sense to go with jewel pack and put that on any good gear i may have to improve stats? Is it much cheaper than getting same stats through monster materials ?
3. If I don't spend 17500 diamonds for elite lab what else would bring the best value from these diamonds ? Even if it means spending them over a period of time than all at once.

Tbh I'm not sure I agree with this. I'm a low spender (built my account over 5 years now) and slowly have crawled myself to leg champ stride(now plodding towards mythic) and also have 12* astra firewall plate + 12* astra winter mitts thanks to the let it snow pack. Not to mention its gotten me gold eon axe, almost gold hootclaw chestplate and the inf lantern off-hand from the cottageroar set. It even put in some solid progress towards my terror shield over the past year.
The pack is honestly incredible value compared to anything else, just because it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it doesn't work for others. Plus astralite demands are a lot higher the stronger you are. EE / bargain store does not cover a lot of ground at all.

Important to note, I've never spent on champ packs. Never bought astralite packs (except 1 month of astralite pass at one point). Never bought packs for cottageroar / eon axe etc. All of the above was almost solely from let it snow etc.

I guess it also depends on your definition of low spender, me personally if you're spending less than $50-100 a month you're basically f2p since pack purchases wont really affect your progress all that much as progress over time will. Then there are people with accounts comparable to mine made within 3-6 months and they've spent like $20,000+ lol.

Cups not worth it through forge, its better (more efficient) to do cups through tycoon. You get a legendary material every 600 tokens or so. (so around $22-25 per leg), but atop of that you get the Pact 5 fams, around 80-100,000 gems (per $20 spent) and various other goodies on top of that.

Skullcrusher is questionable but it might be decent through forge deals, there is no real efficient way to do skullcrusher otherwise; especially if you have long-term plans to take it to mythic. I took mine to mythic through a mix of chests, labyrinth and mass gem hoarding from tycoon whilst working on my cups. (saved up around 4m gems and spent them in labyrinth). It was a pretty long journey to say the least, though still cheaper than a champ weapon.
