Rss, gems, and speedups are useful at any level. If anything, the speedups are even more useful early on when you only need a few hours worth of them for a full upgrade.

And artifact coins are useful as well. Not a priority at that point but at least some help.

So the only thing that's not immediately useful is tomes and might as well start stocking up on those early because when you do need them, you'll need a lot.

But yeah, the Christmas event is definitely greedy even by igg's usual standards

The massive discounts pack goes to 20$ but it loses value (i.e. doesn't go up proportionately in terms of items - 850 Tomes and less speeds).

I think 1st round Material Madness better.

Get some gears to Purple/Gold and then try get the jewels to blues then purple then Golds.

If you are in newer k and not migrating often use your guild coins to buy Jewel chests.

i would do full run of crown jewels, and use bogo on the last $100 pack. Gear is pretty easy to upgrade through events like bargain store and the exchange event. Jewels are alot harder to get and often times are one of the cheaper ways to increase stats. That and artifacts.

For the second question honestly it should be a mix of both , you want to do atk stat castle stars while grabbing all the good astralite packs they release during events like the 10 astra 100 champ chest 5$ one we had during Christmas + I'd also grab the 5$ 3 gamble astra chests whenever it appears in store since it's great value other than that the subscription astralite pack is also worth and grabbing the pop up
