I really don’t know why they changed that. Maybe to “make it more fair”. Though not much they do in this game is even close to ‘fair’

You can’t say this game is fair with its prices/rewards. This game has a very unhealthy tip toward p2p and they have created an environment close to gambling. I know many people who have become addicted (not just to the game) but to spending thousands of dollars into the game. Many have divorced over it. Of course this isn’t IGG’s fault, but they know how to make this game drug-like. It is their job to make the most off of each person. They could really care less about the customer or their gaming experience-unless it loses them money.
I have my own business. I know how this works. I know how unbalanced they really are. Just be careful about telling people to spend money-getting them trapped into the addiction. (I became a p2p. I set fairly good boundaries, but all who have spent money has definitely spent more than they ever intended to on this game

What if there was a player-to-player auction house in the ship? Add an "Embark" button on the cargo ship. You'd be able to post your own personal deals in the cargo ship that all players in your kingdom could see. You could sell 100M food for 5,000 gems in a quick deal on the cargo ship. You could sell resources (limited), materials (limited), XP and vip points (not in restricted k's) etc. at the quantity you want with a certain limit. For every 10,000 gems a deal is worth, you will need a Marketplace Token to buy a deal (plus whatever you need to buy the deal) Marketplace tokens could be won in tycoon, dragon arena coins, or buying them (1$ per token). All deals in cargo marketplace are restricted to maximum 100k gems value and price and every player can buy at maximum 3 things per day

You would unlock it at c25 and cannot buy anything from anyone 400 or more million might above you

That is just not true. Lots of small improvements based on suggestions have been added. Yes they still havent fixed the notification issue or added anything big f2p since the familiar update 3 years ago, but they do add content to the game and improve based on input. Lets hope they will work on a big f2p available content update soon.

I do not think you know what content means then. The 150 chest event was insanely good and great, but it added about 0 content to the game.

I am talking about adding a new research tree that does not require tomes. Or adding new familiars that can be gotten through pact 5 or something. A new building area. New buildings. Something new to the game, like familiars was new and big.

It could even be new buildings with research where you can break down useless items and get some form of dust.

Like.

A building that take 1 item, use 8 hours in breaking in down. Fully upgraded it can take 10 items and it takes 60 hours to break down. You get 10 dust.

Another building can then take the dust and put it together to new items. The new items could be gems, speeds, embers, tomes, ultra rares. It also have a limit of x dust and it takes x time.

Research allows for more capacity, higher speed and more things to break down. It could even make the breakdown more efficient or something.

Because it brings in income and keeps people engage with the game. With your logic, why would they even implement familiars, vergeway, monsters or anything like that?

Dunno what fantasy world you live in but people have a tendency to stop playing when nothing new comes to the game. When people stop playing then fewer and fewer will chat in game and even more will be bored and find something else to do.

The familiars update clearly made IGG a lot of money.

They have added research tree without tomes before

But answer me what money they made by putting in the new monsters? They could just have added the gear but no monsters to hunt.
Or what did they make by putting in auto use?

Somebody proposed IGG should promote a Bot of their own and make it a subscription for like 2-3$ per week.
I would love to have my castle auto gather (honestly who buys rss packs- ever?) to establish trade routes with guild and all the options the existing bots illegally offer.
But of course no Auto shielding or war-bot features. Instead the IGG bot should auto set your gear to predefined war gear if castle is under attack, maybe even auto heal? auto send your leader to shelter? millions of players would gladly pay such a small amount, making their „lives“ so much better.

I also want to comment and say that if there is no good free aspect to the game many p2p never would have started. This is a tactic many companies use. Ever see an app for free that “offers in-app purchases”? That’s a hook. Same with trial time periods. Get the consumer to like the product. Get them wanting more. Offer ways to buy it. IGG is a very wealthy and smart company. I would say they are asking for suggestions from us, the users, because they want the game to still be a game. Not just a money pit. They want to satisfy their current customers and get new ones to be happy enough to stay as well. The p2p to F2P ratio is a bit too skewed in my honest opinion. Hence why I agree it would be nice to add a few more F2P content. It will ultimately make those who say they won’t pay-to spend. Like I said. Get them hooked. The competitive nature is already there. This game also plays highly on our patience level. The less patient we are, the more money we’ll spend. And it obviously works like a charm.

Another thing is p2p players also benefit from F2P content. Hence, keeping their current customers happy, making them stay longer and generating more revenue. It’s all business and psychology.
I have studied into this as I am a business owner. It’s a very important balance to find.

I have actually seen more heavy spenders doing stupid things. Using bad heroes, familiars, comps is widely spread among heavy spenders. Intelligent f2p win lots of defenses against those. Going the archaic tomes way will kill the game. I still have hope IGG got it right.
The vergeway is accessible for everyone, only last 3-4 percent boost is obtained by heavy spending only. You will need up to 6-7 million gems to finish the full deck of cards but f2p gets 2/3 of bonus easily…

With my suggestion, someone is still buying the gems through packs, etc. Gifting is an option because they still make money from this. $100 plus the cost of gems? I’d say it would be fair to allow gifting to higher might players. Maybe put a cap on gifting to 1 bil+might if they are higher than you. Other than that let us get a bit of our money’s worth with a little less restriction. Maybe IGG loses a tiny profit. But is it worth keeping their paying customers by giving them enjoyable content?

Anywho. That’s just my thinking. Do what you will with it and I’m sure IGG will either do something or ignore it. We really shouldn’t be concerned with how much money they are getting in their pockets. That’s their job. Ours is to enjoy the game and spend money
