I assume they were getting mixed up with army battles but it got me thinking... do we have to pay attention to Hero Typing beyond magic, or physical, damage? I see there are Agi, Int, and Str typing.

Not really. It goes hand and hand together. if you open one of the hero page on the attributes page and then press one of the 3 category there is a toolbox indicating than this category also increase the damage the hero deal if it match is typing. Which is pretty much useless since Int hero mostly use magic anyway and non Int hero mostly use physical attacks anyway.

In my kingdom guard 2k is around 500 in colo

How does he even get to 500

Well, say there is a player leaving the kingdom. instead of changing the rank of every player to reflect that one player gone, they put a Guard.2000 in it's spot

Because of that you can even found some in the top 10 if players from the top 10 leave the kingdom ahah
