Champ jewels > attack jewels because its 20% Hp to the entire army. now you dont remove all of one type you balance it out, and expect for one troop to be 20% lower ¯_(ツ)_/¯ now an army assault jewel>champ jewel.

Well the maximum number of champ jewels you can add in a mix set is 8, so you are gonna have to think of which stats you want higher. Most of the time you'd boost your front more. If you have the ideal mix set with 3 mythic cups and a skull crusher you'd want less range jewels overall in the 16 open slots

You could tell if it was a positive stat i.e., a buff not a debuffs, because it would be reflected in the stats page.

But since it depends on enemy stats there's no way to immediately determine if its x -10% or .9x, where x = attack/defense/health

For monster hunting, for the most part yes. If you aren’t in monster hunt gear when you send the heroes off to attack monster, you don’t get bonuses of monster hunt speed or reduced energy cost. But you’ll get damage boost if you switch to mh gear before the heroes make contact with monster

To my knowledge for the familiar battle tree it’s just adding on 10% army atk/def/hp, and not multiplicative. I feel like the reason the might gain is similar to the one as the army hp lv1 debuff is because the further along in the game you get, the harder it is to find ways to improve your stats. So when you’re doing P2P research with tomes and have made it all the way down the familiar battle tree, there’s a good chance the player has all the important F2P research maxed and possibly some P2P trees as well

They’re probably desperately looking for ways to improve by no matter how little and to them, a +10% fam atk increase looks amazing

if you look at the fams and their battle skills, there are ones that will 'reduce enemy's cav HP by 40% at start of battle' or 'reduce enemy's range HP by 40% at start of battle'. in this context, 'reduce' is supposed to mean subtract from, i.e. if enemy has range HP of 500%, it will put it down to 460%. but for demoralize/plague/sabotage research, it'll say 'weaken enemy's...' instead of reduce. When people ask others how their debuff research is, they're referring to those three

Yeah sorry, I should’ve specified that when I said universally, I meant universally in the lords Mobile community :p and regarding your thing about being hard to test, I actually did experiment with someone in my old guild. He had all the debuff research maxed while mine were lv7 at the time. He made a camp with a fixed amount of troops. I attacked it with same troops, but he won by maybe 4-5%. We did it with each troop type, and he still won even though my cav atk was about 40-50% higher than his. I also had 4 fams compared to his 3

That's dope. Not much literature of even discussion on tests, which seems fundamental. Think isolating those variables youd need the same account without debuff research to take a control hit on like a tile as you did, then blast through the debuff research (assuming they were going to anyway). Otherwise seems like too many variables if comparing too many accounts.

The rings are not bad per se. Its more about what u need.
Those blue Cups will give u more attack. So if you are having trouble capping a rally then go with the cup.
And if you can cap a rally easily, then choose ring. With more HP your damage will reduce.

Plus given the fact that u are taking t4 range as reins, rings not so bad if u sit in range front.

I personally do cups, but then i do take more reds. My focus is on capping a rally.

Do the math, it's pretty basic. Add up the speed and RSS cost of rebuilding manors, then add do the speed cost of the among of troops you want to make. Simple. (For only 1,5m troops it's probably not worth)

This is an interesting question actually. It's because of how squads work and more to do with the formation. Nothing to do with Pact5. Each troop type has 4 squads in a war, and each tier is distributed equally to each squad, so 1 squad can hold up to t1-t5. If you watch war video, the answer is pretty much there. War video is too enlightening and insightful to be disregarded. In short, the enemy ranged targets only 2 out of 4 of your cav squads and once those squads die, the enemy ranged may target other troop type and half of your cav survives and because all tiers are distributed equally, corresponding half of your cav t4 is affected

and the fact that the damaged t2 is not exactly half is explained by pact5 damage

In my own experience if I burn then there's t4 deaths every time. Wasn't considering how squads were targeted and is verifiable in the replay. But from my experience if I burn then there's always t4 deaths.
In this situation of being a cav front, of the 4 cav squads, how is it decided which ones are targeted? Does a single cav hero cover 1/4 of the squads, so the 200% attack doesn't apply to each squad?

you are correct. The 200% squad atk only applies to the squad hero accompanies. And when the skill is activated, as it appears as the hero growing bigger in the video, it does damage equivalent to 2 times of atk applied by the squad. So it's actually very strong. However, it gets proportionally weaker as the squad loses troop because the 200% atk reflects the squad atk at the moment of activation and not like initial squad attack.

ranged does 13 atk moves on average, and hero activates 200% 4 times on average in one battle. so the hero is doing extra damage equivalent to 8 atk moves of the ranged. All battle has time limit of 40 sec btw.

This is part of the reason why you should go for a blast rather than mixed against a castle

Scroll sucks. Drum is fine since it's already mythic. Don't waste brains. Once you can make a 2nd blight. Talons may be easier for you to get higher quicker. Depends on drops. Overall it's pretty much the standard set. Codex or mutts are interchangeable imo. Definitely go with whatever is higher level.

Focus on research, construction, or even training gear if you can. Early game you’re not gonna be doing (or should be) much attacking so attack boosts shouldn’t be much of a worry until you start attacking other people

Just my recommendation if you want to start attacking early you can but it’s not necessary

You’re wasting atk jewels trying to have blast sets. Also purple bumble is better than purple beast for mix. More hp, though you’ll likely have a beast helm done long before you have a bumble
