I'm hoping I can get some advice.
I have 3m gems. I can gem 10m t2 for 1m gems, or I can do 2.5m t4 troops for the same price.
I was going to buy 1000 tokens for halos(600k gems) and spend 1m on troops, and keep the other 1.4 for emergencies or for whatever I may end up needing.
I was told jewel chest are pretty pointless to buy with gems..
I'm at 520m, but I quit for a few months and won elite when I came back and I don't want to waste gems but I also don't know a whole bunch of good strategies.

the answer to that is unfortunately dependant on what you want to do in the game

first if you are gemming troops out, make sure you are full manors. Also, its recommended to have a ratio of 3-4:1 in terms of t2:t4 iirc

if you want to focus on doing troops you could do 800k t4 each and then bump the t2 count up to 5mil each? that would work out to be about 1.5mil gems i think

that gives you half left, which you could use to get tycoon tokens to work on gear and keep the rest

unless you are very large player i dont really think you will need more than a million gems as a reserve, but that dependant on how much you want to spend yourself

Ah, since the mitts are only purple compared to a gold fist rn the army hp stats on the fists are better but it would be flipped for gold mitts

In a defense HP and defence are more important in most cases when comparing gear, the mitts give better spread defence stats while the fist only has Cav ATK and army hp

The mitts have army HP and defence plus inf defense and a teeny bit of range ATK

On a Cav ATK the fists are the best choice for offhand as far as I remember rn but on defense the mitts would bet better due to more mix oriented stats

Hi, i would highly recommend to use this set if people are struggling with what to do. Each piece is from a different monster set so you dont have to get loads of rare materials. Plenty of army hp. And also most have 2 troop attack boosts. You could also use dragon fist instead of mitts. Dragon iris as an accessory. Storm tassets. beast helm. And of course skull crusher. But this is a nice and easy option apart from cup and bumble helm as these are hard to obtain in mythic

Depends on your comp... If it's the basic solo trap comp, then you'll need to switch fronts..
There are some comps however that you just take all hits in range wedge

The new monsters are mostly for blast pieces, and are very expensive so very few players have them. Champ is more common

You would attack with blast sets, not mix. Unless you are doing a fort I guess

These are ideal. Most people will use their mix pieces and some of the cheap sub lvl 60 gear for blast until they have enough jewels to put golds in everything
