Tbh I find it way easy to get high might in rise vs lords. Takes like 50 bucks and you can be huge and overrun people

But f2p has way more opportunity to get somewhere than they do in lords tbh

Just depends on the alliance you're in too. Smaller one has a harder time growing than a bigger mainly bc you get rss in your gifts so you don't really have to gather much either in that way plus tons of gems and ap potions (energy to kill barbs and do forts)

I suggest, as a new player, you take some time in the forge just going through the options.
Start with a type, say; helmet. Select a boost, say; range ATK. Look at all the options and which gives the best boosts for that. Write it down. Make note of which monsters you need for those items and how many of the rare drop you need to get the best pieces to gold.
Rinse and repeat for all the pieces till you start to build up an idea of what you want, and then go for it.

Meanwhile there's some basic stuff you can make with regular materials that drop freely from gathering tile and quests. Like lunar flutes and music box. Those are Gimmie - make them.

But if you take my advice you'll learn far better what to make than if you just copy a prescription set. Also you'll be super familiar with gear so when you see someone else's (like when they're attacking you) you know at a glance what it is so you can counter it

Question - 5 heroes selected to go into battle. Say i'm going ranged. Select Peitite, tracker, snow, death archer and Lore Weaver for Army Atk.
My question is - because Lore Weaver is Cavalry leader - have i got to add a rider to the battle to activate her army ATK boost? Same if i added Watcher - have i got to add an infantry soldier to activate his boosts? Or is it already activated without adding a soldier of their type?
Put in other words - it is my belief that heroes are assigned to a squad. To activate - say lore weavers army atk boost, she needs a squad so i have to create one by adding a soldier of her type - otherwise she just sits there watching and does sweet FA with zero boosts added. Is this correct?
And also - as there are 4 squads of a specific troop type regardless of formation - if i add 5 heroes of the same troop type - 1 hero is added to each of the squads. As there is only 4 squads - the last hero has no squad to govern so that hero does nothing. So it is better to have 4 heroes of same troop type and add another of a different troop type creating another squad which provides Army ATK boost. Correct or Incorrect?
I can find nothing definitive on the net and this would be nice to clear up.
