When I was a small player I would often manipulate the top 3 guilds MW3 (Chinese), T/R (Turkish), A/K (English and still exist) by joining them and causing wars between them. Our kingdom got so divided in the end there was 2 factions the Pro-MW3 and Anti-MW3 leagues. Pro had MW3, B/U and both their sub guilds, which numbered near 6 each while Anti had A/K, T/R(later joined) and nearly the entirety of the kingdom

Some people find guild events fun. Scouting for leaders. Some people have fun being an empty castle on anti and making people waste relos. Socializing with your guild is fun

If the enemy turf has an almost equal amount of all important types (anything but siege) a one troop type attack will lead to unnessacry reds and you can use 1 or 2 types later once their frontline or etc has been mostly decimated
