What you aren't seeing is, in wonder is not only atk but also hp. The cav gives more stat sure but the hp is troop type specific and the champ is army hp. Champ also has army atk. So the monster gear is good for blasting but for holding and mix still champ wins.

This is what I did. I believe the best way to get the halos is in the tycoon and using the tons of tokens pack + bogo. If I am not mistake I got about 3-4 purples per 1000 tokens which with bogo is 20$ and without it's 40$. It's a good strategy to get a cup to purple but for gold it's expensive.

For t3 solo trap comp, nowadays it's become harder if you want to cap maxed titans. With the comp that you stated you can trap in moderate kingdoms with average titans. For stronger kingdoms you need more like 3m t3 Frontline 600k-1m t3 counter Frontline(for example if you're inf front, 600k-1m t3 range) then 500k other t3 in my case cav, 5m+ t2 counter front(range) and 3m+ other t2 (in my case, cav)

For closed kingdoms you can go 2.5m t3 Frontline(inf/range) then 3m t2 cav and 3m range. Should be around less than 150m might. That's 108m might in troops and the rest base might

Then don't even bother making blast sets. Go with the simple mix set. Talons/tassets, plate, bee helm, frost wing sword/ crusher, mitts/fists, 1 cup, 1 blight ring, 1 scroll for starters. The key is to make one thing from 1 monster.

By worst with tassets I mean they are worst stats for blast since talons give nicer stats for range than tassets do for inf

And belt is in a league of its own being much better than both for its specific blast

So inf boots give the biggest stat gain to a blast + it fits nicely when you make more champ pieces into most popular fort comps

what we've been trying to argue to you for the past 10 or so minutes is that inf boots get easily outclassed in the thing you make them for which is war stats while champ chest or offhand maintain utility even when no longer useful for war gear due to the secondary stats

you just won't get enough manes to keep up rate of upgrading your boots for them to stay relevant

especially with how easy monstrous chests are to get now thanks to extravaganza making gear upgrades extremely fast
