Please give me some advice/pointers on how to take on rallies in future....

So, two rallies were set on me. I was driving at the time, and got online when they had started marching. I quickly checked what was incoming... Closest march to me was a cav rally. I was already in mixed gear and ranged wedge. So I thought, ok I'll stay put. Quickly checked 2nd march to me and it was an Inf rally. So I thought I'd switch to cav frontline after first rally hits me...and then I'll shield. So I did that.

I check reports and noticed the inf rally hit me first. So countering was unsuccessful. I don't know if I read the watchtower wrong or if the inf rally sped up to hit me first.

Apart from countering correctly, what could I do better next time?

For starters build more T2. The more fodder you have the better off you’ll be. And get rein of whatever ur frontline will be. That’ll help u have more bed space, buy u a little more time.

It all depends on your troop comp really and what u think is being sent at u. If they’re attacking cav and inf the guy above said, oh just defend cav. But with ur troop comp that may not have helped much. Personally unless ur a rally lead ur focus should be having a decent mixed set. Blast sets won’t do u much good.

I wouldn’t recommend taking rallies again until you’re back at 700k each T4 2mil each T2 minimum and then you’ll need 1mil T2 or T4 rein of your frontline. But even then that’s a thin troop comp for taking rallies. Especially doubles
