Hey. For guild bash, when we summon the monster, does it find the tile closest to the summoner to spawn on or does it have to be on a tile right next to the summoner, if not it will appear at a random location

It will appear randomly at the nearest adjacent tile to the summoner.
So if the summoner is in the middle of nothing, it could spawn on any of the 8 adjacent tiles. If the summoner tries to be tricky and go on an island, but guild mates surround them without leaving a space, it will jump to the nearest available space (which might be on the other side of water if you're not careful). But it will be the nearest immediately adjacent tile.

With the amount you need, 6 astralite is like 1 or 2 upgrades. Hardly enough. With that said, it is a good sign imo. Over time if they increase the events with it, we can maybe grind out a gear or two.
Though I think it is a massively missed oppunity. The update is perfect for long time grinding. They should have added a way to mine them and forge them together and then just made it possible to buy the shit if you didnt wanna grind it out.
