The exchange event is literally just a personal GF with fast quest refresh. You don't have to do it. You get the quest board all to yourself to delete whatever you want. There's some not terrible prizes and if you refresh enough there's a bunch of easy enough quests even for f2p.
You all requested this in suggestions. So many aspects of it check off multiple suggestions that have been made over time

Total up how many pumpkins you need and divide it by the days you have left. You can set that as a minimum per day you have to obtain to get the skin and other stuff
