well according to my "research" (bagging energy like crazy and hitting lvl2s) you either get 2 chests per hit or dont get anything

and the chance is around 20% in the big acc where you dont need them or 3% in the small one where i actually want the skin

update: if you kill the monster you are hitting the chance for chests to drop increases significantly and if you kill it with a multi hit it will also drop more chests

Nah that is not true. Dosent change the rate if you kill it or if you multi hit it. It is the same rate, which seems to be around 20% based on my 2 accounts

But take that with a grain of salt, I don't monitor hunting chest drops

But multiple hits is literally just (base damage*hit bonus)hits

idk what you've been trying out and what not but i made 11x1 and got 2 chests total from the final blow (lvl2)
then i lowered another lvl2 with the big acc and i took it down with x4 getting 6 chests, repeated and eventually got 100% droprate with equal to (the amount of hits ive done -1) x2 cuz im hitting lvl2s (that 100% droprate is based on 5 kills and the formula in front was true every time)
to prove the point i just multi hit a monster twice without killing it and didnt get chests, with the final blow (x5) i got the last 4 chests i could for the day

might be a bug might be an extreme misleading luck

however i also feel like it shouldnt be tha case so i dont even know why i am talking about this "loophole" here 😄 hopefully it doesnt get "fixed" 😄
