This is just a skill issue, if you get zeroed on a regular basis that's just being bad, if you have a comp that can't get soloed even if you drop shield you get extra time assuming you did the first step and got into a good guild that will call you

If you are dropping shield while impossible to reach with a call than that's just poor planning

The F2p guilds I play in, sit shielded except for dragon arena, choas arena, Expedition and kvk... You are looking at top 1% guilds that actively fight... And ignoring 99% guilds that barely rally once a week in normal kingdom

But you can use them daily on running DNs, in da, every single hit that gets a good burn, if you are in a good guild (which the T5 let you get into) the leads are usually strong enough that on smaller targets from 2nd hit onwards you can send T5 and not have any wounded, in CA you do minimum amount of gameplay and take some T5 wounded for the rewards but again you use t5.
