That's what i thought too when i first looked at other personalized keycaps. But they're not meant for keys that are frequently used. You'll understand that more once you learn more about artisan keycaps or go down the rabbit hole of mechanical keyboards. Some keycaps are made just for aesthetics or just fandom

Some people just buy keyboards that are meant for display though and have a collection of keycaps like this one

The story of LEGO and MINXY

It was a boring weekend and there was nothing to do spending his weekend at home Lego loved listening to techno tilted his head back sitting on his favourite sofa

his pupils where dilated from smoking to much Mary Jane trying to wander off to his favourite happy place..

suddenly he could hear footsteps upstairs it seemed that they repeatedly bounced off the walls..

the truth is there could be a number of reasons that he heared strange noises the house that he lived in was old so the floor creaks the pipes gurgle the refrigerator humes
but while some sounds are harmless and even charming this was a noise that he never heard before so that made him feel uncomfortable...

((Not much to do today huh??))
he heard a voice say..
Lego now turn down the volume looked around and got curious, nobody was suppose to be home......

((hey sir))
he heard a voice for the second time, this time from behind his ear witch made him shiver like a horse shedding flies
If he would ignore it then eventually it would to away, right?
He preferred that then facing a ghost and be damned in a horror story..

((all I want is just one drop of your blood)) “again” the voice

Lego got a bit queasy but he was also a bit high, am i imagining things... he tought this can’t be real..
He sat down and just when he got comfy
He felt... was it nails?... his forearm itched and each arm hair stood up
His heart started to beat faster, blood flowed through his body and he sobbert up real quick
Wtf is happening! Who are you! He yelled out “again” who are you!

he heard in a daring voice
By the time the voice answered Lego he already left his house
his bubble of disbelief had popped.
A real live minx in my home? But why? And why me?

Was it the weed ive been smoking all day did i imagine it all?? But what about that nasty cut on my arm... thats real..

He kept walking afraid to go back home and promised himself that would never tell anybody about what happend to him..

Cause who would believe him??
Am i going crazy?
The myteriousness of having a minxy show up in your home is something that every men would dream of..
It was frightening but non the less alluring

He was lucky enough to have his wish granted but he was scared....
amazed at his own stupidity
He started Laughing, thats enough! He Said...

Im going back home! The sun was about to go down.
If he turned back now he would be home before dark
As soon as he turned the corner he heard the voice again! This time it didnt sound the same way...

And he felt a silk like touch on his neck
He turned around and there was figure of a horned creature.. she had chocolate brown hair that almost reached the ground she walked on, her lips were deep red like roses...NO even deeper..is it? Is it?

He stepped back while the creature moved closer

Her voice sounded pleasant soft spoken.

Lego was intrigued, normaly he would run and never look back, but there was something about her that sounded familiar...or was it because of her demon powers?

He closed his eyes and He kept them shut!
He didn’t want to imagine what she would do to him if he kept looking at her

((You)) she whispered

He peeked through his eyelids and suddenly he was home again..
His eyes widened he couldn’t believe that he imagined it all... his eyes moistened and his voice was choked
I will never smoke again! He shouted to himself

This was the strangest day of his existence!
Threw every single baggie he could find straight into the trash and he promised himself never to smoke again
It was night and he was tired by the whole ordeal

All he wanted was to get some sleep...
Before he walked up the stairs to take a shower he made sure that he locked everything
While taking a shower he remembered that the creature cute his arm to get his attention... it wasn’t there... offffff he went
thank god!

He found himself laughing again
How can I be so stupid?! LoL minxy’s don’t exist!

((I do exist)) the creature whispered

His eyes widened and suddenly her body was pressed against him
Her eyes looking at me him with great expectation her bright blood red irises allured him! They swallowed him! What was he supposed to do now!?

((I know it is a strange thing to ask))

Lego stutter; w w wha ttt is it that you want?

She really seemed to have a existential crisis saying that... ((please help me))

Why did she choose me? What a pain in the ass, he looked at her...strangely gorgeous!

he wanted to know how far the rabbit hole went
This was all surreal so he put forth his arm shaking in fear “this will hurt!”

((I’ll be gentle)) she can read my mind! He tought!
She hugged him tight and opened up his veins with a single bite

Lego felt his lifeforce leave his body totaly freaked out he looked at te minx, she raised her eyebrows while smiling,

All Lego could think off while entering the cold darkness towards his end
This can’t be true.. this can’t be how it ends

((Thank u for your sacrifice LEGO)) the minxy said

dragging him back into the void voices whispered “mommy did you brings us a human to play with... hihihihi”

Till this day people hear whining screams coming from legos house

I put it in a tineye reverse image search and it got 8 results. You're missing the colored pencil off to the right and the signature in the bottom right corner. Still a good sketch.
