However, I promise, no one is going to do it for 10k gold - if the enemy holding your leader gets burned, someone was gonna burn them anyway and you get your leader back for free. But if you have the bounty up then the system automatically takes your gold and pays it to the person who burned the enemy.

Another thing to consider: if someone burns your captor and you aren't shielded, then your leader will walk back across the kingdom and get captured again by anyone who sees it (including the person who burns your captor)

Don't get complacent and think you can save on shields just because your lead got capped. Unless you don't mind being capped again
