Another poorly thought out event, seems IGG needs to hire better creative staff. This event isn't for 90% of the community, it's an oversized emperor fight with no gateway to entry and lackluster rewards. Very few players will be competitive, and based on IGG's "only the strongest" quip around the center fort tells me this is all 100000% by design.

If the goal of events is to drive players engagement and breathe life back into the game, an event dominated by a fraction of the player base is not the way to do it.

The event has achieved its purpose. Everyone has spent their speeds and rss and they haven't got any tangible rewards for it. Its truly a masterful haul on IGG's part.

It's a difference of opinion. My opinion is that the event has potential, but like Expedition missed the mark. When a primary source of points for an event are wonders, yet only a fraction of the player base can compete, in my opinion that is a miss.

It's not all bad, however it is absolutely not what I had hoped for when I first read the announcements.

What a waste of time, yet another event which only applies to the big guys, that already have a choice of events (baron/chalice) to play. How can you get new players and old plays come to the game when they have no chance if getting points and there's no fun just sitting watching others in the slim hope of getting a few points from gathering rss and getting home before it's stolen from you by fat guy. The only points you can guarantee getting is healing troops. I'm lucky I'm big enough to do reasonably OK, but would not recommend anyone else to join game unless they have very very deep pockets and can buy a full emperor account.
