When i change talents and go back to main menu I keep running into a sync issue, it restarts the game and resets all my talent points to not being assigned, anyone familiar with this?

Hmm, I got 103 talent points from farming shao’s tower, but I can only assign 102 of them .
Assigning all of them runs into this sync issue

You are only supposed to use 102. If you have any more points, the game can't register and it resets. You get awarded 102+ points because of server sync issue. Use 102 and you will be fine.

The defense tree is mostly worthless imo, you're way better off putting those points into offense and support

For the defense tree I would recommend hawk stance instead of bear stance but I'd end it there, it just isn't worth it given how the ai opponents work, you're way better off being agressive rather than defensive

If they ever find a way to make live pvp a thing, the defense tree could work but not with the current state of the game

Esp if you have equipment/teams that give you free bars of meter at the start of the match, you can spam specials and then switch to your damage dealer who gets extra power from teamwork

And if you have erron blacks rifle, teamwork is a no-brainer

I’ve been told 102 by a mod, I’ve seen people say 100, I see the pinned message saying 100 and not 102. I’ve seen characters in game with 102 also. I also heard it was for veteran players, but then I heard that was also patched out to make it fair with everyone, so back to 100.

In game support has given me the runaround for days now with forwarding my email to 3 different departments.

I’m sitting at stage 100/100 in Shao Kahn’s Tower and see no reward for a talent point.

im maining this so im using it for anywhere in standard. i've found this talent tree to be the most useful as it focuses on the most beneficial and essential talents in overall gameplay performances. imo the support tree is the best tree, as it allows you to generate more power which is what you're usually looking for in battles. power already provides: offense as you're dealing dmg/debuff and defense as it's your turn and you can gain buffs

some battles from which can be a pain and struggle, you can change your talent tree anytime according to the troubles. but this talent tree can cover majority of battles in general

This is a bug with talent presets, its really finicky but basically just load up a preset and hit reset all talents, do this for all your presets and it should fix it

Itll bug and show you having like, 160 points or something crazy too

But you cant ever spend more than 102 anyway

I dont really think theyre worth the points even in a DoT build because well... the DoT is doing the damage not your basics

Probably caused not only by the preset update but also that they removed the tutorial that would give you the 2 beginner points. So I assumed it confused the system and yeah. Will give extra but unusable points or remove points and cannot be gained back.

Reminds me of that "missing battle" bug in that other game. Apparently code rot might be a thing.

If MK mobile didn't update for 5 years straight, things would automatically start to break by itself.

And yes, I speak from experience, as a player of that other game.
