Well I just took a trip down memory lane to the days of MKX mobile and the 2.0 update and I think I speak on behalf of the whole MK community when I say, please, please, change the store back to how it was! I know it's been over a year since the 2.0 update but I've just spent 1.5k souls on challenge and gold packs and am not able to max out the rest of my collection - its just too hard

Nah, this is the priority when considering the majority of what people want:

Gold Klassic Noob and Diamond MK11 Noob (definitely high in demand)
Tied Shang Tsung (Gold and Diamond) and Diamond Sindel
Tied Nightwolf and Rain
All other characters mentioned have not had as much demand: Cetrion, Stryker, Kollector, Frost and Predator... etc.

(This is only for characters not already in the game)

why is everyone asking for more characters? the game is loaded with them as it is. if anything i would ask for a more rewarding game. i have played the game for almost 2 years and i only have 2 diamonds. mk11 scorpion and sub zero. i would ask for a reward system. like if a player has gone a year or 2 without paying for souls on the game or any packs, i would reward them with 500 souls or 1k or even more. i got my dad to download it a week ago. he spent $10 and had 2 diamonds instantly. i feel like the game is more rewarding to players who pay to win.

I don't know there's a huge difference between diamonds and golds as it is now adding another tier would be redundant If there is no power level difference but making another set of cards with higher base stats will topple the balance of the game .... And that is not mentioning the rarity ... Just my thoughts maybe I am wrong 🤷

This may not be relevant to other but the rewards system is nerfed has to be how do I manage to get koins 12 times in a row and a diamond x card I even have the screenshots of my rewards I'll admit after a few koins in a row I get frustrated and I don't screenshot but it's ridiculous and laughable I'm at 100 on fatal and 97 on normal and giving koins seems to be a thing even when I finish a multiple of 10 maybe its everyone

I don’t think there should be emerald at all, Diamond is still incredibly rare and expensive and are op. Having another tier doesn’t make sense. When mk started, there was no diamond and there it with few characters and now there are loads, the same will happen with emerald. Emerald also requires the developers to put so much unnecessary effort too. Emerald will have to be better than diamond and those characters are already mad. If there is a new tier, there will be a specific set of characters, characters who are op in general. By this, I’d say all Kahn’s/Emperor/Empress, for example:
Sindel and Shao Kahn
Kitana (x2 with Outworld and Netherrealm) and Liu Kang
Kotal Kahn
Raiden
Kronika, Cetrion and Shinnok.

However, most of these characters have already been done and thus wouldn’t make sense. Also, to have one singular character in a different tier is just bias and insane and any other character alone who haven’t ruled a realm would not be powerful enough to be “emerald”.

@potent mural I literally explained why there can’t be just one above-all character. I mean, Shang Tsung got beaten by Liu Kang in Mk9 and is not the most powerful. It screws up the dynamics and having only one character is an irrational bias. For it to make sense, there have to be a select few like all the rulers of the realm and Elder Gods, then again, they already have a lot of those characters in the game already as diamond. Another tier also requires to be better than diamond which is already op, especially combinations, and think of the players who are new with bronze, for them it’s probs hard going against gold nonetheless. If another tier is added, it’ll be like diamond, where it’ll start off as few and then more and more are added to the point it’s mad, plus they’ll charge you more money—more than diamond—for this. It’s ridiculous and unnecessary. All that’s needed is a few characters, like Noob for example, to be added.

Regarding Shang Tsung... lots of haters in here. He keeps coming and going but it's not an opportune time to reintroduce him on a cell phone game because he was defeated in MK9??.... Makes no sense. The cell phone version of Mortal Kombat NEVER had him.

My own facepalm to all of you. 🤦‍♂️ Getting rid of Shang Tsung completely in Mortal Kombat is like going to a beach with no sand ever again.... What the hell is the point? Movie lore doesnt make sense half the time why should game lore? Give us the characters we know and love/hate to play with. The majority of us don't want 11 versions of Scorpion, or Terminator before Shang Tsung is even introduced. We want something new, or better yet, an original character debut. Klassic Shang Tsung or Elder God Shang Tsung is a far better idea than 80% of the characters here.

I'd love to see at least a little bit of a increased chance on getting the revenant cards or the "circle of shadow" as they are currently called.. Dark emperor liu kang used to be in the faction wars shop when he used to be a gold card I think that they should implement some sort of way that we can get the circle of shadow cards a different way other than packs, I say this because the chances on the packs are horrible and to get a pack with a circle of shadow card you need to spend at least 400 souls and that is basically like 4-5 days worth of quests and its devastating when you don't get them.. There used to be a netherealm bundle pack that was 850 souls and garenteed a circle of shadow card and it was worth it because it gave 3 cards that are now diamonds along with 10 level up cards.. they should bring this pack back and maybe make it cheaper since there are more cards now so that everyone who cannot at the moment can get a circle of shadow card, because I know for a fact that as cool as they look they are also pretty good.. I play on pc with a controller as well and just being able to achieve and unlock the skins or "cards" is quite enjoyable and it makes the game more "grindable" if you know what I mean. Doing this could also encourage more quests to be introduced to the game, even though the game is old at this point they can still make it exciting

Diamond Kotal Kahn and Ermac, MK11 Sindel, Baraka, Nightwolf, Frost, Cassie Cage, Shang Tsung, and Shao Kahn. A new Kombat Cup character, Noob Saibot, Revenant Smoke, Revenant Sindel, Revenant Nightwolf, and Revenant Kabal as new Circle of Shadow characters.

I think they should add a counter in ads section because sometimes I just jump into fatal battle thinking that there is always ads to replenish my teams energy and you should add a last season score in faction wats as that it takes sometime to reward us we will know what we will get and where we were going n the last season
