yes, ronins are the highest damage dealers in the game but have really weak defense. ronin kitana is the tank of the ronin team because she's less squishy. she can be used for sp1 powerdraining for fighting. best to team her with ronins for alot of damage and make use of her passive

yeah, has a really good passive that supports 3 characters (most importantly cassie and jacqui). best team to pair him up with is: kosplay jacqui, sr takeda, covert ops cassie. those 2 top golds in a team which takeda supports by boosting their stats. kosplay jacqui can pick different kostumes for bonuses versus other classes like crit chance or dmg boost, this becomes way better as takeda boosts her attack stats and challenge golds have better stats than basic golds. covert ops cassie gives unblockable chance for the team so you don't have to use any block breaker equipment and you can fight with her sp2 spamming, takeda boosts her stats that makes her sp2 deal more damage with cripple. he himself is a good fighter, his sp1 weaken can save you from dangerous dangerous and sp2 is his strongest attack.

it's fine, you can team characters up with others by looking at their classes, shirai ryu takeda is both a martial artist and spec ops so you can team him with either of these classes. since he is more of a fighter, you can put supporter in the team and a second fighter. you can do this so by reading the passives

if you want to know the best team possible for mk11 rain:

• mk11 nightwolf, mk11 raiden and mk11 rain

but you can still make a very good team with him with more other characters like any other mk11 characters (scorp, sub0, jade etc.) or you can team him with characters that cause lightning attacks such as any other raidens like klassic raiden & inj2 raiden. klassic raiden will able to deal more than +40% damage with his tag-in attack and both klassic raiden and inj2 raiden will do so much with sp2 + they have grapple on sp2 too, just make sure you do this when your opponent is soaked tho. mk11 raiden is the mk11 teammate that works best with him, as when rain applies soak to the team (he has chance for applying to soak to the entire opponent team). then raiden can do with his sp2 which does lightning attacks to deal extreme damage to the team with the sp2 that deals the highest damage in the game. mk11 characters still do so much damage at F0 (mostly raiden´s sp2 and scorp´s fire dots)

The point of Mk11 teams is that they have options to counter specific debuffs or do different things depending on your formation, if its not a fight where you feel like you need something specific run the 3 strongest (Subz, Noob, Scorp), or Raiden, Rain, Nightwolf/Shang if its a timed battle like bosses and so on

Damaging 3 enemies at the same time saves a hell of a lot more time than damaging the enemy one by one

to make teams with classes, just put characters with the same classes in the team. read their passives so you can see what they provide

for the kollection you have, the best teams you can make are:

- mk11 scorp, mk11 raiden, mk11 jade
.mk11 team is the best team, scorp being the best character of it with fire dots and infinite chaining, raiden deals enormous mounts of damage with sp2 and gives his team powerdrain immune, mk11 jade heals her team from dots and can snare on spam sp2 (+90%) krushing blow that applies stun.

- wretch dvorah, klassic reptile, ravenous mileena
this team can apply poison infinite times with dvorah and reptile and is poison immune because of reptile, ravenous mileena boosts the damage of dots thus in this case poison. their regenerations are reptile’s sp3 for whole team and ravenous mileena sp2 for herself.

• CoS liu kang, CoS kung lao, CoS sub0
  sub0 giving his CoS teammates lethal chance which benefits liu kang the most and he can get vampirism (heal) from dealing lethals for his whole team & deal extra good damage. this becomes very good as liu kang’s passive triggers in faction wars but can be used outside too. kung lao can spam sp2 if he gets a chance to get his sp2 back after using it a time and get shield with it to stay defensed. sub0 can instakill with sp2 if he does it unblockable.

To top it with the second team, klassic reptile also gives a really high critical hit chance (if you max his passive) to outworlds on poison, so Ravenous Mileena would be really powerful (my recommendation of the moves would be to use KL. Reptiles special attack, then to tag in Mileena and use a special if ones available)

klassic liu kang can go in any team. that’s because he both becomes a fighter and support for the team.
as the support, he provides infinite cripple to the opponent team by tagging with your teammates which disallows your opponents to use specials if they’re affected by it.
as the fighter, he has really fast basics to spam and combo enders to get tons of power from, just keep spamming his powerful sp2. he is immune to dots & heals from fire so he can care for himself

i use that klassic liu kang, sf scorp and klassic raiden team even in fatal tower for fun. it can destroy FX diamond teams if you play with in a good way which is:

klassic liu kang starting as the fighter and after doing sp2 that stuns, tagging-in to klassic raiden which takes 40% off opponent’s health & powerdrains & cripples them from klassic liu kang’s passive and do his sp2 for good damage. tag-back into klassic liu kang as opponent will get uncrippled and do the same thing again.

He can do enough damage in towers if equipped with tower gears, his stats are low but his incredibly fast basic attacks makes up for it, if you master using him, nothing can stop you really except for Arctic wind, Mk11 Jade, Mk11 Rain and supposed Mk11 Sindel i guess

I have the wushi equipment from Earth Tower. It gaves him 30% chance to heal 50% of the damage of SP2

I think is a good combo bc DR SP2 is guaranteed so adding a healing chance to that special sounds good

I personally use block breaker on Raiden as a small mistake could cost him because of his low stats especially in towers and i find special one to be better than special two as it can be used to chain much more easily

If you have strong tower equipments that boosts his health, then you can use him without block breaker if you want.

It looks like every three combo enders, regardless of which enemy is active, result in the special animation with the Shinnok bone spear. So does that mean that each time he performs that special animation, he seals only the active enemy's combo enders? Or the whole enemy team?
