So, after doing 10 fw matches I've come to my conclusion
He may be a fast attacker but with this in mind, SF Scorpion and SR Takeda are almost as fast as him. (still really damn quick though) I hardly felt his Siphon ability (even when not attacking for most of the game), the fact that his SP1 is dispel is kind of a waste of an ability considering that unless you're fighting an mk11 team or an outworld team (with characters that do DoTs) it's kind of useless. His SP2 ability is also kind of a waste of another ability if you have a character that can snare on SP1 (the only one I know of is MK11 Jade). I don't mind his first passive ability but if you have a specific perk in the Skill Tree, you can already do this. Now, His last Passive annoys me. Granted, if you don't have any Scorpions (how??) this wont matter. But the fact that "Teammate's Special Attacks have a chance to Stun." why? Just... It could have been anything else. Weaken, Bleed, Cripple, no. Stun. as if a lot of other characters don't do this already (Kabal, Jaqui, Scorpion, Kano, Tremor etc)
He's a good all-round character and I get that now. but if his passives did literally anything else, I'd consider putting him on my team.

I personally like Takeda's combo, it gives me enough space to get ready for his sp2 if I have it or for another combo, I know the passive can be upgraded but I didn't want to use souls on a character I wouldn't use. (the whole reason why I tested him personally), I can't get Weak Point Attacks because I'm still working on maxxing out Offence as much as I can, granted if I did get that far, I probably would upgrade it once then move to the next one because Outworld Scourge would be really damn good with Scorpion, if I can't break the block to do the combos, then I'm just doing little to no damage while wasting time, would using his sp2 ruin the combo and let them use their SPs? And I don't play raiden so "like for every other raiden" means nothing to me. I know his special attacks/combo enders do damage to entire team but at the same time, Art of the Tsunami can do the same thing it's just not every special/ender, can the stun go through blocks? If so, then that's a good point to use him if you just want extra damage. I.E, boss battles. And He can fight for himself and his team, but so can Klassic Reptile and any other character that doesn't have to be active to help

Injustice 2 Raiden:
One of the top diamonds you can get and can go in ANY team. Fast basic attacks and spammable to the AI, sp1 that can come in handy in some situations to deal damage/kill your opponent, sp2 his strongest attack you should use as it has grapple and does great damage with snare. His first combo ender is probably the combo ender with the most hits and can help you generate alot of power with power gen equipped.
From the talent tree using "weak point attacks" from the support tree. He is able to infinitely snare the opponents because of his powerdrain passive he does infinitely. This can be very useful for bosses since you snare them just by tagging inj2 raiden in.
He has lightning strike as assist that can stun the opponent and save you in so many situations such as they're gonna attack you and raiden says "no". This is him overall

Now for my review of my favourite character that people call bad. SR Takeda.
Lets start with his counter. There may be a small chance of it happening, but when it does activate, it does a good small amount of damage BUT counters into any of his special attacks which is pretty cool. His sp1 does a small amount of damage (unless upgraded) but does cause weaken for a good amount of time! His sp2 does a huge amount of damage and isn't hard to use, blocking or not this will hit your target. Sadly it doesn't cause anything, but it's good in a dire situation. His X-ray, I haven't used this much but it does do a good amount of damage, not to mention that it's easy to get if you just hold block. Besides that, in my opinion, I love using him. Not only is he my main damage dealer but he's quite simple to use

yellow: fire dots have increased power drain vs spec ops
blue: +50% crit damage vs outworld
brown: +30% lethal chance vs netherrealm
green: constant poison vs martial artists
red: reflect blocked damage vs netherrealm
you have to look at the opponent's classes and see which bonus would fit for them, the best ones are red (mass damage + vampirism on sp2), green (poison on combo enders and sp2 grapple blind) and blue (best frostbite spammer).
a nice team for her is: kosplay jacqui, co cassie and sr takeda. she can be used in ANY team or can have specs ops and martial artist teammates to gain support

I feel like the shadow is the 4th team member where that would generate power like tagged out character until he is summoned

I noted that he always has the same amount of power of my mk11 sub zero, who i keep tagging out all the time
So shadow can sometimes start with 2 bars of power
And shadow can chain his basic after noob's sp2, and that basic can be chained into specials
So i have one teammate equipped with power gen and keep tagging out (sub zero in this case), then i can perform unblocked special immediately after summoning shadow

ik this has probably been asked a lot, but what’s the best offensive/in general mk11 team? im fairly new but in my head I’m thinkin scorpion skarlet jade, and they’re pretty easy to get compared to the other ones

That’s okay, brutalities aren’t needed but they are extremely helpful. Once you get stronger and once you are able to beat towers, you will definitely get yourself a brutality one way or another

The chance to get a character from a quest is extremely low, you are more likely to drop a gold card from renown

I wouldn't recommend this, the drop rate for a character is so so low it might as well be 0, better off grinding 1hr quests so you can get him from a diamond pack

Usually you can get him only from renown, except for that one quest(which has an even lower drop rate than the renown does)
They should have made slasher 10x better if they wanted to keep him locked inside a pack that comes out only once, maybe twice a year tops....
