Who can tell me about all the glitches with Kosplay Jacqui? And when the glitches might get fixed? For one thing, I've noticed that in Reptile mode, it adverises as giving constant poison to Special Forces but it does no such thing. Also, not long ago I saw people here discussing how Hi-Tech Jacqui is supposed to boost power generation to Special Forces teammates, but that doesn't work either.

Oops right. Martial Artists not special ops.. I had a brain fart with the class name. But same result. Kosplay Jacqui Reptile mode against Martial Artists: I see absolutely no dark magic or poison, or any sort of DOT health loss against active or inactive martial artist opponents until after I perform a combo ender and the poison jar appears, which actually works against any class of opponent.

I challenge you to prove otherwise, with a video or screenshot.

If you say it's there I call BS. It simply doesn't work on my game, period.

Okay, I concede. You're right. The invisible poison health drop against weaker opponents is noticeable in Battle mode . But I tell you, it is not noticeable to me against evenly matched opponents in Faction Wars battles, where I usually play Jacqui. This goes to show that her "BIG" bonuses against character classes are not necessarily that big, really.

I apologize for the aggression earlier, @JustDraco#2910. As much as I love this game, I do have a certain level of frustration with it over all its annoying bugs. Due to the fact that I couldnt perceive Jacqui's "constant poison against martial artists" when playing against strong opponents, I was thinking it was just yet another bug.

But how about High-Tech Jaqui and her advertised power boost for special ops teammates? Others say that that is broken. Is that true? If so, when do you think it will be fixed?

EG kenshi boosts elder gods, so that’s always a good team. Martial artists that somehow boost him, like shaolin kung jin, is also a good option. His main passive works for any teammate, so he’s a very versatile card.

It's not just 20$ for one. Its 220$ to have it maxed, then $660 for the team. Then over 10000$$ if u want all of em. Just to be able to play mortal kombat on ur phone with a full roster of characters. I miss the days of 60$ and just being able to play as much as I wanted. But anything desirable is hence profitable.

And it's amazing how 20 or 30$ for this tower and that every few weeks can add up

I wouldn't be surprised if it was purely a balance issue. Wiki refers to him as a Fallen Elder God, so yea should be both nether/elder, but if he was both, you could combine him with Elder God Kenshi's passive, and suddenly you have a gold card that not only reduces special attack damage by 50%, but also immune to critical hits and they both give +20% chance to critical hit for their team category. Would be insane damage output

kl sonya should be first with sp1 to break shields at match start, then tag in kl raiden or other strong fighter. once one of the enemy died or near dead and managed to tag out, bring kl sonya in and sp1 again, rinse repeat

you can kill whole team with kl sonya alone if she is leveled up and high fusion with maxed sp1 and proper gear like power regen and block breaker

Having a blast playing with klassic smoke, he can resist everything and reflect it back to the enemy. Watching scorp mk11 gets crippled and burned instead of smoke 🤣 , powerdrain, bleed, slow, stun, freeze, frostbite, all of them get send back to sender, simply

And he just blockbreak, sp1 them, blind them and gets faster with each sp1. He should be diamond

Yeah that's a smart loadout. Try using her staff and then shadow sash on her or anyone in the team and if using DotD team out her in right after kitana x-ray. You'll get sick damage boost when the opponent whiffs. I've gotten almost 600k from just the 2nd last minihit by itself

I got kenshi from wasting souls on a pack, and I’m not exactly a free to play player so I wasted 20 dollars to get mk11 sub zero

I’m gonna build a gold team on my beginner account as diamonds aren’t gonna do me any good if I can’t fuse them because golds can do better at f3, so any recommendations for a gold team to pair with grandmaster sub zero?

gm subzero is a solo character, unlike cryomancer subzero who is a team player. Im not super good at the game, but i have owned gm subzero for a long time, and i recomend using him with someone's passive that boosts martial artist buffs, because the only thing better than subzero is stronger subzero. I use gm subzero, covert ops cassie, and a random kenshi, which has helped me grind very very far in battle mode and FW. havent tested challanges tho

There is literally no synergy with this team that you run...low level faction wars it might work semi-decent but when you get to higher ranks with harder battles you're going to find your team not performing well enough to do well

I wasn't too keen on Baraka at first but at fusion X whole different story. You take him Mk11 Scarlett and klassic Milena that's a bleeding team. Plus Baraka for each outworld on team does a killer combo. Or if you put him with Ravenous Milena that's a great combo. Baraka fighting first then tag in Milena who stuns with Baraka awesome.

And as in all MK games slow characters are the power houses. But you block and time attack just right no problems. Plus I think a lot of players use auto battle which either works but most times doesn't. Only if you got maxed gold's diamonds etc it works better. I only use auto battle on character challenge towers.

Good point. It's kinda lazy that they gave all jade cards blind got Sp2 BUT supposedly it's really good if you use her staff because the whiff attacks are supposed to boost her damage 60% each time. However, how often are you finding yourself performing Sp2 and NOT killing your opponent(besides tower bosses)?

Has anyone else noticed that something funky is going on with the in-match class related bonuses or modifiers?
I had boraicho challenge running on automode and noticed that one of my cards triggered his passive but it said "nomad invulnerability" or whatever the phrase is when you stay tagged in too long. I was NOT using BD erron black so clueless as to why nomad would be show up.

Then just now I was playing tower 131, where 2 raidens. KLK did 800k Sp2 on TG raiden. I used no tower gear but I did have champions nunchuku. That gear gives 100% damage boost against outworld - when my Sp2 goes lethal against outworld in FW I get 800k. So TG raiden as elder god is triggering outworld damage bonus.

I can set up Blood God Kotal, Swarm Queen DBorya, and Noxious dicreptile to beat maxed out diamonds. Any card can do something well. Or should do something well. And even the crappiest cards can be made decent with equipment

I don’t know about everyone else, but I scarcely use x-rays. If I was to choose, I would change the character-specific boost for this equipment to be unblockable chance on basic attacks. Iirc, the only one with this trait is Liu Kang’s Red Headband. Having another would be awesome. Having two great characters of the same name with their mutual character-specific equipment being useful for only one of them isn’t so good.

And then any character that has 130% power gen. Add power gen gear and/or power gen talent and you have x-rays and fb quickly.

Also Jason, especially slasher can theoretically get x-ray fast if you don't mind using his resurrection. Slasher with the nightmare gear can resurrect 3x

And strike force team gets a lot of power. Combine Cassie tag in passive with johnny's passive against opponents with revenant and you get x-rays pretty quickly

@sharp sail If you're a beginner, you need to focus on quantity over quality. Gold packs are cheaper than discounted and diamond packs. If you have more gold characters, you will be able to use some for battle mode or challenges, and some for quests. If you buy discounted packs, you will get good characters, but only a few. This would mean that it would be hard for you to manage which to use for challenges, towers, battle mode, and Shao Kahn Tower, and which to use for quests.

Also, even if you do get a diamond character, the diamond character would be useless unless it's some specific characters like Klassic Liu Kang, Day of the Dead Jade, or Hellspawn Scorpion unlike if you have decent fused gold cards.

Plus, you would be able to get challenge gold cards from FW if you reach even Kombatant 1 which is very easy to reach.

Last time I played that level on my beginner acct I used grandmaster sub zero

1. I was trying to defeat them with tremor and S0 for the FoS since they all scorpion. But you can use whomever you want with king lao. I had him there to start the match so he was generating more power for the other 2. And for stun lock. I gave him sento blade, cybernetic heart, and psych bomb. Psych bomb gave me reduced Sp2 and eventual cripple on stun
   Tremor had rusty chainsaw, his armor, and specter chains for power drain and to tag in someone besides whomever theybjust tagged in
   Sub zero had frost axe for frostbite, shao kahn helmet for health, and soul medallion for power gen
   Now all these guys are fX so I was tkying with them by farming FoS combo enders and SP1/Sp2 for sub0 but there were plenty of times I had x-ray but didn't use just to prolong the match. So you could definitely get it done.
   If you need the boost use the support talents Horse Stance and Spec Ops Tactics you get power boost for both inactive teammates and a big boost for 10 seconds after tag in. That could put you over the top

I just saw Mand put a video out about teamwork. Didnt watch it yet but there's apparently talk about that talent getting buffed in some way. Haven't seen talk here but if it goes back to pre 3.0 then you can use that instead of spec ops tactics and also build power faster

Did you pass it? Also GMS0 is decent for the level because of his ice clone. This round is one where I could see KLK being helpful even at low fusion because of crippling the opponent. I'm guessing the issue for this level is staying alive long enough to get to x-ray 3 times. I remember doing the level for the first time and actually not having too much of a problem with it. Back then I was using triborg team for everything remotely challenging. That team also gets x-ray fast if you include Smoke. I believe the first time I completed SKT I had no higher than f6 or 7. So like I was saying if you want to share your kollections we can try to give some more specific feedback in strategy

Yes Kabal is good. When u get stunned he rushes and clears u and applies stun 2 them*. So w/raid/kab/jad ur team is immune to power drain, stun*,and bled/fir/&poison all GIVE U health. Only frostb and freeze affect ur team then! Very very good imo
