Unpopular opinion: my least favourite team is Klassic Movie.

1. It has very incomplete synergy, no thanks to Johnny who doesn't give Raiden the Blind resistance since he isn't Spec Ops. I'll gladly at the very least replace him with Stunt Double as he fulfills the two without obligating himself an effect for them that only one can benefit
2. Sonya and Johnny have boring if at least practical passives because it requires me to remember their sequences on top of everything else already, so I'll rather tap the i icon if I want to do it at all. Johnny has impractical effects and Sonya requiring you remember to also amplify so I'll rather do it in advance.
3. Unless you use freeze, Raiden's max health damage is also impractical since his lightning trap more often than most has the AI breaking out in an instant. If they don't it's a miracle but I don't trust chances.
4. Johnny with his Klassic Movie effect fulfilled has him fight the same speed as the other Johnnies, which means he actually fights 6% slower by default
5. Klassic Movie doesn't get the privilege of technicalities like in another game and so is not a Klassic teammate at all which would mean further creativity but nah.

But all in all, Johnny is the weakest link on the Klassic Movie team. Oh yeah.
6. Synergies meant that having others like Liu Kang and Shang being pointless additions since Sonya will be essentially a solo character, are not Spec Ops for Johnny and Shang Tsung simply doesn't count for any of them.

another team that works is cassie + sonya combat cups. Sonya is very good and makes both of them immune to stun. 3rd one can be balanced kenshi for the 1 bar on spec ops.
