Compared to kabal who might have worse passive but his stats will make him more reliable dmg and sustain

scorp will be your main fighter in that team who already has DoT damage, unless you are in a boss fight thats what will matter. in that scenario id honestly drop scorp for kabal then

cripple gives immense safety, especially because this update the AI was tuned to spam specials alot more

F4 gold wont reliably survive much regardless, removing their specials from play is a big deal

the stat difference will also be less dramatic when you start leveling them higher

the bleed he applies does % based damage, regardless of his stats that will do the same to everyone. doesnt matter if the opponent has 3 million hp. bosses however are immune to bleed and all DoTs in general, which means brute strength becomes more important (the stat bomb). also while yes attack stat does matter it is not a 1 to 1 idea. 2 characters with identical attack can deal wildly different damage. theres hidden damage multipliers in all special attacks you dont really see

like say assassin kitana has one of the highest attacks in the game, but also is like bottom 20 for her special damage

kabal in general is just ok as a fighter, while youll deal more initially having control of a fight is the #1 tool you get as a player. a huge majority of battles you are the underdog, you cant overpower the enemies stats

Yes scorpion sp1 has bleed but so does kabal sp1, it has poison and every 80% + on the mini game gives permanent +15% to combo Enders so I also thought of that when I thought he could be main fighter

the combo ender damage boost is better ignored its very weak, but scorpion also breaks blocks which means he doesnt need to rely on breaking them when kabal does

all it takes is kabal getting blocked once and the enemy counter attacks with a special that one shots him

in most fights, scorpions consistency with liu kangs protection will simply preform better

yeah mk11 scorp is really broken, sindel is a great choice but jade is more of a tech option. for your account that inferno scorp will be better than her. basically shes just there for the reverse DOT passive, if your opponents dont have any shes kinda a wasted slot

sindel just offers good control, if your really thinking about having more damage her shield break on tag in is one of the best damage boosts, sindel also has very high damage scaling on sp2. jades passive doesnt really do anything if the enemy doesnt have DOTs, but also she has gold stats, shes just upgraded to a diamond. she will be outstated pretty easily

the dodges can be nice but its just luck and enemies dont do alot of basics vs you

generally if you die its because of a special not a basic

its why people say "the enemy has rigged odds" or claim its higher for the AI, its because the player is the one on offense for like 90% of a match if not more

so defensive effects generally are weaker for players, except for effects like sindel because it offers immediate opportunity to be offensive back

shield break is pretty simple, when its applied itll well break any shield buff they have, and it also gives a 50% damage boost

the important thing is this damage boost applies AFTER others

so like, if you crit its boosting the crit damage too, not just adding to it

the enemy can still gain shield while being debuffed with it, it only breaks any they currently had

one of the biggest things is that you learn from losing matches too, usually learn more even. its just part of the journey and I encourge you to try fights that look to hard and fight your way through them best you can

dragon krystals are difficult to really say an exact path for. but after you finish beginner packs I think doing a few more charater packs is not a bad idea but you really want to get into tower equipment packs as soon as you feel comfortable with your characters (you will never NEED a FX character to win) imo gear is 70% of fights compared to characters at 30%. gear also takes alot longer to grind for

like right now there is varmints lucky hat as a drop in the pack and its one of the best gears for a player where you are in the game

thats gonna be the main way yeah, krypt is also a way and so is realm klash, but for now those are more sideline things. you want to do tower fights as much as you can win or lose doesnt matter, and yeah using koins for the gear packs is huge. those are kind of your baseline gears and will be defining how you build your gear for quite awhile. even I use some of those rares to this day

Hey everyone I got a question currently I'm running Sub Zero f1 Liu Kang F0 and Skarlet F2 ( MK 11 all ) as my main team but have all my powerful equipment on Sub zero which I try to keep alive in order to use it's saving ability on my other 2 characters especially in fatal tower and that doesn't allow me to use it much in fighting so wondering if I should change them all to Skarlet as she has the highest fusion and will be dealing more damage and let Sub zero play it's true support role ( the only reason why I didn't do this before is basically cause of Sub zero special attack 2 which always breaks enemy block and then hits them massive damage ) sorry for the long message

Skarlet has cripple as skill 2 which is pretty useful I realised it when I started using her more often also the blood rain is really good

honestly tho grassface is better than people say

his basics are less bad than people say, his sp1 is a true unblockable which is incredibly rare

they just need to boost his sp2 damage and maybe his stack effect

the sp2 range thing is annoying but not as problematic as jasons since you can make it unblockable too
