I like MK1 Scorpion. He lightening fast and has cool animations. MK11 Scorpion probably does more damage due to his passive and fore on combo enders, though.
Will be interesting to see what kind of synergy is in development for MK1 characters. As of now MK1 Scorpion has no synergy with any teams.
Side note. As they bring more MK1 Characters I hope it isn't the usually: SZ, LK, Raiden, etc. It would be nice to get a wider variety of diamond characters.

KLR has a nice passive.
INJ2R drains power which is nice. He has a killer combo chain.
MK11 Raiden has the coolest looking SP2/3 IMO. He also has added synergy other Raidems don't have when paired work MK11 Rain.
KLM Raiden can be deadly vs bosses with his SP2 + touch passive.

Do Fujin combo ender passive then tag-in Raiden so his lightening attacks hit 3x. I believe all Raiden's attacks are lightening.
