Nope. There's a floating little robot that causes him to inflict freeze/frostbite. When triborg sub-zero uses either his freezing combo ender or frostbiting sp attacks, the robot disappears. You can bring it back after performing a sp atk

I was confused about this part as well until i noticed him summoning the robot after performing a sp atk when it's not present

It's best you attack, freeze with combo ender then use sp atk to summon the robot if you want to go for damage. If you want frostbite instead, use his sp atk first
