Just activated him. Last night I did three 8-hour quests with 10-soul potions (cheapest ones). I might get him to f1 this week

So i just finished three one day quests, but got no eyes, are they not a guarantee? Can someone give me a run down of how this works, because i also see the moon, but when i tap on it, it just says “5 days”

I've tested the one-hour towers for the last days and got him plus bright him to f1 - because I'm a very green player and I've been hoarding souls x anniversary rather than spending on the Reptile event.

Managed to get him to f3 😎 I didn't have the card before. I don't think the one-day quest is a good method at this point. I only used one-hour quests (and 8-hour quests in the night), and pushes 6 times one-day quests with speed elixir in order to get enough eyes for f2 and f3. So, I've spent a total of 876 souls (my Caro is only f1), which is less than two days of souls production for me.
If I had used only one-day quests I wouldn't have made a profit of souls and I would have possibly been at that same fusion level I'm now.

Best strategy for farming eyes is one hour quest. And heres why ;

A one hour quest can give 4 eyes and a 24 hour quest gives 20. In my experience one hour quest have a 1 in 5 chance of giving eyes. So roughly speaking every 2 hours you get 4 eyes. Do this 10 one hour quest you get 20 eyes in 10 hours then you can do an 8 hour quest while you sleep for 8 eyes. That's roughly 28-36 eyes in 18 hours with a decent chunk of souls.

Whereas with 24 hour the chances of success are 1 in 3. So you get 20 eyes every 24 hours or if you lucky 40.

Again this is from my personal experience. I can't say the chances i used are accurate thats the drop rate I've gotten for eyes roughly

Spending zero souls i got him twice ( had 240 eyes left over from last event) and got 250 plus this event. Its designed so you get 1-2 fusion levels per event

yes I got fusion 6 using 12h quests and 1600 Souls to speed up my quests. I think he's right. When you're using 24h quests you don't have enough time.

I guess they've been there all along, but I could have saved a lot of time, I think, if I followed the difficulty indicators which take the form of colored borders around the Quests: Gray, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red which indicate difficulty from Low to Extreme.

Then too, the difficulty doesn't necessarily correspond to the best rewards.

here is a certain event that is held at a random time (shown by a moon in the Quest Mode layout) that makes the quests give out a special reward known as Reptile's Eyes, through a random chance. Collecting enough of them will cause a secret green tower to appear which has the “?” sign and holds a secret boss fight with Reptile/Klassic in the exclusive Pit arena. Players can also access this tower in the main screen once they collected enough eyes. It is a time-limited event such as Relic Hunt, Lin Kuei Tower or Tower of Horror and it rotates with them. This event is only held on the Outworld map, none of the netherrealm quests will give Eyes as reward. This game mode is a reference to the secret fight against Reptile on the first Mortal Kombat in The Pit stage.

When having enough eyes, players will need to first summon Klassic Reptile by tapping on the 'Summon' button in the secret tower, after which, they can proceed to prepare for the fight against him. When the tower appears, chances of obtaining eyes through quests will be gone, and beating his boss battle will award players with a copy of his card; after that, the moon will immediately disappear. You can see how many days are left by tapping the moon at the right of the map.

The number of eyes required to summon Reptile is incremented each time he is being fused; one can see the progress at the upper-left corner of the map (previously it showed only a percentage and not the exact number).The best strategy is to do 1-day quests since those have the best chance of obtaining eyes, and putting Caro’s Guidance on all of them is a must. When getting closer to the eye's goal (for example: 148/150 eyes) it's better to do 24h quests so when they yield eyes, you will have a lot remaining for the next time the moon shows up.

the most common strat to follow is to do 1 hour quests throughout the day and 8 hours before sleep, but for a lot of people’s schedules that may not be feasible

and as for loot itself, really the only thing to look for is caro’s guidance which is an epic that drops randomly from a lot of quests, or more souls and random gold characters from the “Renown” bar at the top

so i know that the quest loot bonus only applies to the quest with the character that has caro’s guidance when you claim it, but does going to the “kollection” tab and moving caro to a card on a particular quest work to get the loot bonus on all 3?

so for example, you have quest X and quest Y. you put caro on both of them to start. when they’re ready to be claimed, you claim quest Y first since that’s the one that had caro on it. can i go to the kollection tab and move caro to a card on quest X before claiming it to get the bonus on there as well?

No, paying with Souls to rush 24-hour quests with 25 eyes is the best way. Quest #s 12, 52 and 64 net 25 eyes when granted. There's No guarantee of eyes but this is the quickest way. Reptile is an amazing diamond so get copies while you can. I skip opening packs and rushing towers and spend my souls on quest rushes to fuse him up higher.

I'm 35 eyes away from summoning him for Fusion 7.

I didn’t know that the 6.0 update brought back the event so when I got back on after a few weeks of not playing there was only 2 days left in the event so I felt pressured to get as many eyes while I could. The bug was that it let people click into a "twelth" fight against him, which didnt exist, so when the game tried to load the fight it crashed out. And since when you relog it tracks the last thing you did... hardlock

When you get fusions from other places, you dont increase what fight your on against him, so you can absolutely get sellbacks from it which is pretty silly

It has been confirmed by @MKMobileGame that Boss Reptile was only ever intended to be summoned ONCE per event. The fact that he could be summoned multiple times in the past was in fact a bug. #MKMobile

Okay, so I did reptile tower, and the game has restarted since.
Directly after doing the tower, I could still harvest new fragments.
But when I go to quest now, fragments don't show up at the quests, whereas they do show up in the bar on top of the screen.
