I have a questions about the faction war store so I hope this is the correct place for that. I currently have 5400 rubies. I own 1 epic equipment (bloody tomahawk) f0 and Klassic scorpion lvl 43 f2. What is the best thing to do?

1. Fuse scorpion to lvl 5, making him one of my strongest characters
2. Buy another character
3. Buy equipment

Fuse tomahawk and than buy shang tsung stone and sindels ring and fuse them. Than focus on scorpion if you feel like it or go for more equipment

There’s a bit of a shortage of good armor, so the FW pieces are pretty useful imo. Lots of good rare weapons and accessories.

Afaik, there's this difference between equipment effect
One that say "boost" is stackable. For example crit chance boost, and basic dmg boost. They did stack with each other.
And One that doesn't say "boost" isn't stackable. For example reduce power cost and unblockable chance on basic attack. Even reduce power cost talent is proven that it doesn't stack with equipment effect from my testing, so is unblockable chance on basic attack.

But when I use 2 block breaker gear i can feel that block breaker is triggered more often. Iirc, there's someone said that maybe unblockable gear work independently, like if u use 2x25% chance unblockable, it will count in each hit twice with 25% chance of success. If it 1x25%, then it will only count each hit once with 25% chance of success.
But, neither of us knew how exactly it work. Maybe it work like the explanation above or it actually stack but have limitations like 45/ 50/ any % or neither of them

@tribal hinge i don’t know if there are any. Just use any equipments you think it would help you to survive (i.e., health, block breaker weapon, power generation).

For specific character’s equipment: rare equipment (blue colour) has a character name in it. If you equip correctly for a character, its name will be in green colour.

For level X fusion: just forget it. Think of a bonus when you have it fused to max. Any characters can use, don’t misunderstand that a character with X fusion can be eligible to use that skill.

Surely this has already been said, but here's some intel on equipment. Since the game itself wont let you read a gear description from shirai ryu tower unless you have it yourself - Specter's infernal Chains - 50% chance to drain 33% power on special attack 1, fire , health, damage boosts. for Diamond Scorpion - 40% chance to do special combo ender "if last opponent is under 25% health" NOTE SOME STAGES OF SHIRAI RYU TOWER IT CAN HAPPEN WHENEVER YOU ARE BELOW 25% health, not just for the last defender. For Scorpion and Smoke [special]- 50% chance to pull opponent back in when they tag out. So for the towers, Scorpion with this equipment should generally be snared and splattered. Takeda cannot benefit from this equipment like Scorpion does.

Despite fact that MK11 Scorpion is insane health in the Fatal Boss battles on the Shirai Ryu towers.

1. legacy epics (Wrath Hammer), u can obtain it by using gold and soul in equipment packs, challenge pack and some $$$ offer as well
2. faction war epics (Gears in Faction War Store), u can obtain it by using blood rubies that u can collect from FW season milestones and season reward (check leaderboards in faction war to know the detail) in faction war store
3. limited-time event epics (event tower equip from currently held Shirai Ryu Tower (SRT), and there's 3 another event tower before the current one, so far the event tower is held for 1 each season of the year(spring, summer, fall, winter)), u can obtain it by finishing battle 200 of Fatal SRT (guaranteed), random drop from any win/lose battle in SRT (very low chance) and some $$$ offer as well

+1 for block breaker equipment. As equipment goes, it is my main focus. It makes all the difference, especially to your lead fighter (1st to fight). I have been passing my Shuriken around to my lead fighter.

I've managed to fuse my shuriken to X. Passing it around to my lead fighter changes the tone of my battles.

There is an equipment card called Shuriken. It is a common weapon card.

Another one I have is a rare weapon card called rusty chainsaw. If you activate your special after you break a block or after you land an unblocked basic attack, all the special attack damage will effectively land as unblocked too.

@cyan needle There’s no eq can do power cost reduction on sp1. Bound Demon, Soul Medallion and a few other EQs will do power generation. The best one is the Cybernetic Heart, generates 3 bars of power in a blink. Very hard to get though.

In weapons slot I'll always use a block breaker for armour I'll equip toughness booster's but is it better to use health booster's instead, and for accessories I'll put power generation. The only equipment I don't swap out is KC johhny with his subtle tattoo and KP Jacki with her glove

Uh, hang on let me math. This has come up elsewhere, too. It's a 40% chance the first one works, and if it doesn't (60% of the time) there's a 40% chance that the 60% that the first equipment didn't work on the second one will. So 40% + 40% of (100%-40%), 40% + 40% (60%) = 40% + 24% = 64%.

Thanks everyone, I'm gonna buy ten packs, here's my results - 4 epic sellbacks, 1 respirator (fifth pack), wrath hammer sellback, (eighth), 4 packs were all common or uncommon.

Looks like I'm 8 fusions short on respirator, 9 short on infinite blood, 5 short on the flask, 6 short on endoskeleton arm, otherwise I have all the rare gear FX except zero Ninja Yoroi. So I need 11+8+9+5+6 = 39 more rare gear from the packs.

As far as faction wars store equipment goes, I would suggest look at the descriptions early on, get the ones you like to fusion zero, once you have the two or three you like, work on getting it to fusion X in sequence, one at a time. The equipment pack in the store is pretty random so you can't prioritize anything, so you roll the dice and sometimes you get something good. I try to post what I'm getting when I do a set of ten pack buys (I'm free to play, it's Koins I'm spending on the normal equipment pack, not actual money packs elsewhere).

Same goes for faction wars characters, although maybe concentrate on one character at a time, as several faction wars characters have changed to diamond and been removed from the faction wars store (I'm looking at you, Dark emperor Liu Kang).

There are currently two Tanya characters, both gold, one challenge (Treacherous) and one FW store (Kobu Jutsu). It's possible something may change there, the others (Ermac was added to the FW store fairly recently), and Klassic Scorpion and Klassic Subzero are also newer to the FW store but older than Klassic Ermac. There's a Klassic Ninja pack that has those three, so I'd suggest KJ Tanya.

She has been in the store the longest, and the character passive is oriented toward Faction Wars like Dark Emperor Liu Kang.... I have her FX. Treacherous is also good but my main reason for getting KJ Tanja to FX was she was a second in-game currency toward getting a FX outworld character for Relic Hunt tower V.

This was back when you could buy characters fairly easily in the store if you had won a challenge, so I was using souls to get DOTD Kitana to FX again, for Relic Hunt tower V.

@tropic crater what I do is hoard coins up to around 3 or 4 million and then wait until the free bronze card spits out a silver character card, then I dump coins into equipment packs. It’s seemed for me like when you get a silver character card out of a bronze pack, the game is feeling generous. Combining that with an ability to buy multiple equipments packs can net you a lot of rare fusions, or it’s seemed to for me. Souls buy you everything, coins just get you silver fusions for 55000 and equip packs. Logic might be flawed but of my non-Tower rares, the only ones I’m not still trying to fuse are Sonya’s m vest, Freddy’s glove, BRC’s flask and the new smoke yoroi. Have no idea if that’s feasible or helpful for you but it’s how I do it 🤞
