because this game originally came out like five years ago and it behind the curve quite a bit from injustice 2. plus they would have to actually implement MK11 versions ideally of all the characters that appear in MK11 story mode first

kronika even would need to exist in a mobile version somehow for them to do that

Before the update, I was losing in Faction Wars with a chance of 3-5%. Well it was easy basically.

And now, I'm losing almost every fatal battle.

The funny thing about that losing, as that I'm playing with Sonya and Johnny Kombat Cup ( Sonya is 9 fusion, and Johnny is 8 ), well they are good, I won't say that they are garbage, but why the heck am I getting FULL Dark Emperor Liu Kang with Dark Empress Kitana almost with a 75% chance while playing Fatal Battles? I don't want to cheat, but with this matchmaking, I don't even have options of how am I suppose to beat teams like i mentioned before?

Even X fusion Wrath Hammer can't help me with this thing :P

@austere leaf but Kombat Cup team can handle him, they have stun immune. But with this stun immune you'll have to put block as fast as possible, but sometimes this "magic block" doesn't work as it need to.

And because of this "magic" you can ruin yourself in a matter of seconds.

I will try now to just put Kombat Cup team to see what trap will I get into.

Quick question for the experts. When I look at the stats for any one of my characters, under each category, there is the equipment field that should adjust depending on what equipment is currently attached to that character card. I noticed, no matter which weapon(s) are being used, the equipment percentage on "attack" is 0%; whereas the other fields (health, power gen, etc) are all adjusted appropriately when the corresponding equipment cards are loaded to that character. Is this a glitch?

*further testing shows the Wrath Hammer does show an equipment attack boost, but nothing else does.

@subtle flower The two best ways to get equipment are Faction Wars and Equipment Pack. Also, doing the Hard challenge will get you that character's equipment.

Rare equipment is actually pretty hard to come by. You'll max Wrath Hammer before any specific rare equipment.

@subtle flower I'd switch to Equipment Packs as soon as you've got the good silvers up to FX, those "good" silvers being Kenshi, Cage Family, Scorpion, Ermac.

Also, you'll more than likely max out Wrath Hammer long before any specific (desired) character rare equipment... Wrath hammer has a 2% drop rate in equipment packs, while all 38 character rare equipment share a 15% drop rate, meaning each individual character rare has a specific drop rate of aboout 0.39%. Once you're down to all but one maxed out character rare, then the estimated koin cost of opening equipment packs until that one rare is opened can be expressed as

( 70000koins ) ÷ ( 0.15 ( 1 ÷ 38 ) ) = 17,733,333koins

Based on that I'd strongly recommend focusing on equipment packs early.

Fw equipment is a must. Devastator is great for your starter. Bloody voodoo has great power gen. However, focus on maxing just one rather than having low fusions of many. @subtle flower

Rather if someone is blocking, the game takes the first equipment card and has a changes of being unblockable. If failed, the second unblockable equipemnt card come into to play. Again 50% changes. Notice that the unblockable cards Dont Not say +50% or whatever. @timber quarry

Well, I think you might be wrong? Since the max equipment unblockable chance is only 45%. So 2 maxed equipment with unblockable chance only add up to 90%. So there is still a 10% chance that your hit will not be a block breaker.

well, since it's cover ops cassie, it means he can have a 45% unblockable weapon and 35% from the only non weapon unblockable equipment ( vial of infinite blood). That ( 80%) and Cassie (25%) become 105% for basic attacks, but just 25% for special attacks. So, maybe he was playing against an opponent with unblockable chance reduction or maybe he's right. But from my personal experience, equipment does stack.

@latent surge What you are occasionally experiencing is probably a bug. I sometimes find that a maxed Blaze's Life Force doesn't work against normal characters, despite its 100% chance to apply fire to the active enemy at the start of the match whether or not it provides a buff to them. Any one of the eight Diamond Spec Ops teammates of Covert Ops Cassie Cage can get 150% chance for Unblockable Basic Attacks if they equip two maxed weapons of the four with 45% unblockable chance on basic attacks and the maxed accessory, Vial of Infinite Blood, with its 35% chance plus the 25% from Cassie's Discipline.

Incidentally, Reaper's End has 50% unblockable chance on basic attacks if it's maxed, 30% unfused. A maxed Frost Axe gives 50% unblockable chance on basic attacks.

At some point you will see that you will stack op koins and have nothing to buy with them because your silver and bronze are maxed out. with my first 5 million koins i opened as much equipment packs as possible to get the rare pieces and wrath hammer.

so let your koins stack up to 2 or 3 million and them open some packs. but if you are not getting rare ones in 10 packs stop and try another day. sometimes the rare ones don't drop and on other days you get 3 in one pack.

Starting in 1st place on the leaderboard means you don't have to look ahead. Just keep the others in your rearview. It also indicates that you have a headstart on the others. That makes keeping your position easier. Don't forget that there are multiple places in each rank, particularly from GrandMaster downwards. They just abbreviate the list. I started about an hour ago I guess. I'm at 36th place and am a GrandMaster from an Apprentice II at start.

All the equipments from faction war store. Each one with unique characteristics.
My favorites would be
Devastator, Shokan armour, Datusha bane of moroi, shadow sash armour and sindels signet ring.

Devastator for sp1 attack and overall damage. Effective against matched teams 😉

Datusha bane of moroi for all resurrected opponents. Helps alot with klassic goro, Terminator, Jason, Subzero and even mk11 characters.

Shadow sash armour for blocking all unblockable attacks plus greatly reduces xray damages. Effective on characters with high health stats.

Sindels signet ring would be great choice for resistance to stuns, bleed and slow. Though it's most interesting thing is copying buffs from opponents!

That's because the equipment pack only gives three cards, and the probability to obtain common is obviously higher. You need to get the most cards possible in order to get more than just common, because the greater the sample, the better it adjusts to the intended probability

For example, rare equipment has a 15% chance, it means 15 rares each 100. So if you buy only one pack and get three cards from it, it would be way lower than 15%. Get it? The most packs you buy, more chances to get what you want. That's how probability works.

Shao Kahn's helmet is a rare piece, it means 15%. But to be exact, divide that percentage by the amount of rare equipment pieces found in game (no tower exclusives, obviously)

Start with Devastator weapon and fire blaze ring. Increases SP1 damage and fire attack damage.

Else look for tomhawk weapon (15% damage boost fw) and Shang tsung stone.

Just noticed something: takeda was on a quest and had 100% success chance when he started. When I pressed repeat, it was 80-something. What had changed was I switched his armor, from jason’s mask fx to shadow sash fx. The rare equipment was somehow better than the epic.

Most of faction club equipments will not be as effective as they are in faction wars.

For completing quests with better stats, most characters equipments would suffice well.

I’ve opened another 8 equipment packs today, everything is a sell back, except for 1 rare bit of equipment. (560K for 1 rare bit of equipment, kinda ridiculous)
Should I stop opening packs from the store and HOPE to get the rest of equipment from towers, or is there another way to get my missing equipment ?

than buy them every now and then instead of bulk buy. maybe 4-5 pack per season. seems like low amount but you'll find a lot of equipment fused after some time. but if you bulk buy you'll only be seeing you're spending too much in a small time

make a set amount of koin that you wont go under. than buy. like set that you wont go under 1m koin no matter what. and buy accordingly. you'll always know that you're buying the packs so you'll worry a little less on them.

@proper lily I agree with kitten power. My amount is 2 million so every now and than I buy equipment until I reach this mark. On average you should get 1 rare or epic equipment every 3 packs. This means 1 equipment/ 210 k coins. Is this a good deal? I don't know, but on the other hand there isn't a lot of stuff you can do with your coins
