Definitely. I started grinding FoS on my sub0 to do better in elder wind. His extra power gen helped me beat boss stages with 1 try even in fatal. Both 180 and 200 normal easily destroyed using sub0 only. FoS are really good!

Bro, I noticed it during fatal 200 ewt. From 7-10 tries to 3 tries. Same fusion. Same equipment. Just faster power gen than helped me counter vermit's hat. With normal, I defeated some boss battles that typically take 2-3 tries with ONE try. I also defeated 140 or 160 ewt with 1 try. The power of FoS!

From what I know defense reduces the damage you take. For example if you take 100 damage and don't have defense fos you would take 100 dmg but if you had the max fos defense you would take 92 damage but I'm not totally sure

It's very good for some characters. When I used my mk11 sub zero in ewt, I struggled with power gen against opponents with lucky hat. I built his FoS and the 4-6% extra power gen made a huge difference to the point I started beating boss battles within 1 attempt

Don't underestimate FoS. It's borihg and takes ages, but worth it. Build your favorite characters

boss quan chi’s passive is that he can revive the oni infinitely

i used the movie set star glitch to trap johnny and the oni into a 1v1 forever

this is a glitch that usually tortured people in klassic tower fights because it disables your tag basically permanently

however I used it so that this makes it so that autoplay can never tag out, nor the oni can

and it also has priority for sp1 so if I leave it on autoplay I can farm feats of strength

These FoS that require knockouts are so insanely easy to grind. Just do one of the first few towers in Battle Mode and not only can you grind knockouts, you can also grind Battle Mode FoS

But you are correct in saying that it shouldn't be very difficult to get your quota in knockouts that don't require a specific target like those do of my previous recent posts.

Thanks. I was unaware that it has 50% reduced power cost for SP2. But I'm pretty sure there's another gear that won't beat their health down so much as the Thunderblade. Power gen is quite important though.

There's probably a slew of players who have that trio near maxed in FoS bonuses because they use that team almost exclusively.
