On battle mode there is a tower with 5 fights that gets you around 30k exp per fight and 1.2k gold avg, the enemies have like 12k hp and 5k atk, so you can do them pretty quickly too

after lvl 40 they yield only 20k exp per fight tho

I suggest you use auto mode on fw if you're busy. It's what I did and finally all golds and diamonds are 50-60. Silvers and bronze are on the way to being maxed

I've finally completed the elder challenge (: had to skip 2 of the 30 battles from last tower tho. Only completed normal tower on high jacqui briggs challenge when I started out, then managed to complete hard tower on the double challenge for anniversary and elder now :D Hope I'll have the characters for next challenge coming up
