After f5 scorp a jade, a noob, and sub you can then focus on tower refreshes where you will get most of your diamonds.

After FX scorp you can buy mk11 packs to max those diamonds to start playing faction wars survival.

If you have some money to throw at the game spend it on either offers that give massive souls or buy scorps brutality pack when it is around or buy a grand pack for new towers you can play for a month or more.

150 souls to 400 is a big jump, yes, but they (challenge golds) are overall better in stats and passives.

And plus, you have 10% chance to obtain a diamond in that pack.

So the only use kabal has is stun reflection and even that is part of sindel's passive now which gives 25% stun resistance to netherrealm and mk11 teammates. Stun resistance can stack up with other things like hawk stance

And if an enemy resists stun, it means no fatal blow for him on tag in

Also he has gold stats like raiden and jade but raiden and jade can compensate in other ways

But sindel is very hard to even get for f2p, kabals stun reflection pretty much guaranteed, and what about raiden though? His stun on combo enders doesnt work at all, it says 50% , but feels like 10% , his specials not even unblockable, while kabals sp2 unblockable , the only things are disabling combo enders which doesnt make any difference at all and immune to power drain(thats huge yes)

Disabling combo enders against someone like fujin would basically make them harmless, also they wouldn't be able to brutalize you
Unblockable specials are just an extra, having a block breaker on a character is the standard so you're not gonna launch specials against blocking enemies anyway
Raiden has the highest sp2 base damage in the game, and you can play him with rain to boost that damage even further and share it with the whole enemy team at the same time, also the powergen boost allows it to spam it a lot

+mk11 raiden is the best user for his brutality set since his brutality rare allows you to remove up to 15% health of the enemy every time you stun them, and mk11 is the only one with a reliable way to stun (injustice can stun too but only on his assist for tagged out teammates)

I used kabal in towers when he was my highest mk11, but stopped using him once I balanced the others out

Lower chance but it's cheaper and you can get challenge golds instead of basics

I used that pack to max my raiden and kabal, had stopped opening jade pack once I maxed my basics with it, now that jade is maxed too i can ignore both
