klassic sonya is a top 5 gold, that's because she's a team destroyer. with her sp1 which applies shield break, she is able to deal more damage against opponent (the toughness of the opponent gets ignored then, allowing to deal more damage) with shield break and break any shield of the opponents that have it active. from spamming her sp1, you can constantly apply shield break and deal big amounts of damage. she's able to spam it easily from using a power gen and sp1 is the first power bar.

best strategy for klassic sonya
when klassic sonya is teamed with covert ops cassie, she gets unblockable chance on both basics & specials allowing her sp1 to break the block if her opponent is blocking and increasing the damage more. her sp1 has many hits so this can trigger pretty well. from covert ops cassie's passive, it saves a slot for block breaker for klassic sonya and any spec ops in the team. klassic sonya has cheap basic attacks to spam and she recovers well from them with both decent same combo enders so she can gain power pretty well and keep hitting on the opponent. when an opponent is shield broken from klassic sonya's sp1, you can tag covert ops cassie in and do her sp2 (which has unblockable chance ofc) for really good damage and applying cripple. the other member after covert ops cassie can be high tech jacqui. she gives any spec ops teammates +20% increased power gen, so that klassic sonya can get to sp1 and spam it more easily and covert ops cassie get to her sp2.

klassic sonya's sp1 spamming strategy is used for bosses since she can damage the whole team with the constant shield breaks and deal lots of damage enough just to kill in a few tries (have to look out for debuffs such as blind which distracts sonya, by using debuff resistance chance sources). from faction wars store, the equipment "shang tsung" fits greatly for klassic sonya. it reduces power cost and when it's FX, she'll deal 30% damage to the opponent team after killing with sp1 spam.

dark raiden is a top 10 gold. he can heal from dots and they don't cause him any harm at all, so does powerdrain which gives him power instead but you have to watch out for the damage as dark raiden's stats are not that really good. luckily, his passive and his chaining are the reason he is a top gold. in many battles, you would encounter dots and dark raiden can just take them without a problem and not losing power too. the best part of dark raiden is his chaining with basic attacks. he does this so spamming basic attacks and canceling the first combo ender only, he is a cheap fighter so you can keep hitting the AI especially when they're on the corner (have block breaker equipped for him). before the update, you could infinitely chain with dark raiden and AI couldn't move at all when in the corner. that was because after dark raiden did his first combo ender where he kicks the opponent to the ground, he then could hit quickly where it hits the opponent even tho they're on the ground & continue with the basic attacks and chaining. but he still remains a top after all, you just have to cancel his first combo ender and keep hitting the AI & spam grapple sp2.

best strategy for dark raiden
even tho dark raiden is good in any team (better with elder gods/netherrealm for synergy, read passives first) for his chainings with basic attacks. he can be used for dark magic too since the dot of dark magic heals dark raiden with big steps (unless dark magic has elder gods/netherrealm safe only, then dark raiden doesn't heal and is safe from the dot).

• when elite netherrealm elder god packs, this packs is good for getting diamonds into your kollection as it has the highest chances for diamonds and fusing netherrealm & elder god golds.
• when you want a diamond that is from a diamond team (strike force for example), then it's best to wait for their own packs to pop up (you can also drop diamonds from faction wars rewards if their diamond team season come, you have to be atleast kontender +1% to get a possible chance for them). it's because their own diamond team packs have a pool of their team as the diamonds (3 characters), which makes it the best chances for getting them.
