if you have block breaker equipment, you can just hit them without having to block mostly (unless you play with slow characters)

I bought Kombat Cup characters in the store whenever I saw them, and use them to conquer the normal and fatal towers. Other than that, I agree with @arctic seal, don't buy from the store. There are much better things to spend your souls on. Especially Mournful Kitana.

I always do the challenges for souls, at least. Kintaro is kinda garbage for a challenge gold, but completing the challenge gives souls, and he still has the stats of a challenge gold, so obviously he's better than silvers and most basic golds.

you can use him for ressurection in any team and sp2 cripple when fighting with him (do sp2 unblockable the best). he has slow basics and one combo ender so that’s why he’s there for support at all. just prevent getting death mark like in faction wars try avoiding getting hit normally and watch out for mk11 noob. death mark stops any ressurections and will make his passive go to waste

if you wanna use other ressurections for your team, there’s mk11 sub0 (ressurection only for mk11 teammates) and sf scorp (goes for any team, saves sf teammates twice)

2nd best character in the game (the best liu kang), fast and comfy basics which you can chain with block breaker, keeping the enemy team crippled, his sp2 stun deals one of the most damage (gets better with lethal) and it can one shot others, immune to dots and heals from fire & gain strength from powerdrain (these help him stay alive easily), his sp2 changes to his dragon fire when he is on fire that burns the whole enemy team which is sick but his normal sp2 is way stronger, he has own brutality gear, his legacy equipment (red headband) gives him power gen and block breaker in one so you can just add critical chance equipment next to it, he is both a fighter and supporter which you can use in any team, in the old mk mobile times he was the best diamond in the game and he could chain his sp2 which was really op for bosses, he's a top favorited character

Wow. I don't believe floor 195 of Nightmare Tower is beatable. It's mislabeled. The modifier should read, unblockable, instant power enraged. They all have spec 3s within 3 to 5 seconds of match start. And with the way they r so ridiculously overpowered compared to their listed attack rating, I don't believe it's beatable. Ha ha Halloween joke on us. That absolutely bites!!

@tardy geode I have been using power & drain & cripple & every other combo of guys I can think of. Plus I have lots of Nightmare gear on everybody when they attempt. No matter what I do, Aaron Black ties up my spec moves for at least 2 guys, then Jade pops in(this is after less than 8 seconds into the match) spec 3s, pops right back out, then my other 2 r dealing with Kitana, & maybe 4-5 seconds later, Jade is back with a spec 3.

Tbh, usually the towers(with the exception of the fatal mode ones) aren't bad at all. I actually smoked thru Earthrealm tower twice already. Actually stopped cuz I was bored with it. Just started again, but not refreshing. But this Nightmare Tower is something else. It's like a Fatal & a half Tower.
