I work in the Cloud DevOps field and take it from me, if NRS hosts this game using any of the major cloud providers, your data is saved in DR centers all over the world and can be retrieved whenever the real servers come up. The 50k souls people won’t shut up about is actually for new dev testing accounts to test out packs and other things that cost currency.

server hardware problems is not going to take days to fix, they usually just replace them. software problems is more likely the culprit and they use test build for investigating the problem. im afraid the with the amount of time passed already, nrs may be facing very unique and puzzling fault in the server build. they have 6 years of experience and plenty more from other projects, this many hours for troubleshooting is indeed phenomenal catastrophe.
