It's the epic & rare which is valuable. Buzzsaw epic for example gives you speed even outside tower. And yes also brutality which is very important. In your case wait for the next full fledged tower to buy equipments or if you want to only focus on scorpion then wait for srt tower to buy equipments

MK11 Raiden is very useful anywhere, nice stun lock + highest base SP2 damage in the game. Power buff on SP2 allows you to keep specials over and over again

INJ2 Raiden is the most useful for towers. Fast basics, generates lots of power, and infinite snare if you have weak point attacks in the talent tree
