Now, if I buy the support at lvl 1 compared to level 10, it won't do as much, but if I get it to level 10 when I fused it at level 1, will it be the same as buying it just as level 10?

Toughness reduces the damage taken from hits. So basically how it works is, if the opponents toughness is higher than your health, you will deal a lot less damage to that one opponent

Toughness is VERY prominent against bosses since they have millions of health points

So when klassic sonya “ignores toughness”, that means no matter what, you will deal the maximum amount of damage. You will reach your maximum damage potential

Another thing that demolishes toughness is shield break, which klassic sonya has on her SP1. She can stack it. Each shield break increases your damage by +100

It actually is very effective. You get to ignore bosses toughness (meaning you deal the highest amount of damage you possibly can) and you get to stack shield breaks, which furthers that maximum amount

In towers, I use Kombat cup Johnny, klassic sonya, and covert ops cassie for bosses. Stack 2 shield breaks, Johnny’s SP1 does 200k damage
