Certain characters doesn't work on brute force like mk11 scorp or klassic liu kang. You need to do timed attack with baraka. Ofcourse it's annoying if you have other food characters, but for beginner who doesn't play mk11 scorp or klassic liu kang, they may think baraka is good for them

I feel like a beginner would have an even harder time with timing attacks and interrupting, he's just a all around terrible character, outmatched by even basic golds. Good stats and a solid passive, terrible attacks

If you add up that a lot of people if they opened up a couple thousand souls on packs, they hit on average every 5-6 packs which is about the same cost as the last anniversary pack except you get a lot more rewards for all the non diamond packs that opened. So, I think it was actually better if you enough souls (couple thousand) to open packs

It was the non guarantee diamond that burned people but it worked itself out in the end

Resells are useless, you also get guaranteed rewards instead of gambling
