The bug can happen regardless if you are playing fw or not. The chain lock and force exit implemented in 3.2 dont work.
My gears were remained broken half an hour ago when new season starts. My quest also got bugged again, claiming reward dont work, instead asking for souls to speed up completion. I figured that my game has lost sync after new season starts, the prompt appear saying so and tried to refresh main menu, it didnt work, gears remain broken and quest bugged. So i closed the game and restart it. It works, gears are now refreshed for fw survivor and quest reward can be claimed. I looked at my net stats and i did have time outs after claiming my fw reward. Also, i stopped playing fw 2 hours before season ends.
