Personally, i used both terminators with klassic sonya for full offensive power or injustice 2 raiden for his snare with weak point attack talent to grind down each opponent one by one. I equipped frost orb on guardian so he can ressurect, he can do sp2 or sp3 on save, ice bomb on df terminator as starter to freeze enemy on start of match, destroy any team i met on fw quick battle, mk11 or kl liu kang team.

I don't have any insight into upcoming sales although I can tell u that last year's anniversary deal was 5$ diamond cards (5th yr) I don't remember them having a deal in packs so much better than any other time tho. Personally I prefer the 14% odds @ 320 vs 10% @268 so I think worth a few tries at least
