The difference is huge. In old FW's I got bored bc that team was so dominant I'd win 2ez. They punch, u block, then u punch and keep punching &back into corner. It was common to finish a fight without the other team landing a blow.

Items that can be purchased should not be such things that can guarantee victory , it should be like gun skins and costumes.These things don't give the player any special ability ,these are only to show off and at the end only the player with skill, determination and experience will win.But this game is another story , a noob with money can win a hardcore gamer who spent years into this game by purchasing items .But another aspect of the issue is collectors value .It is only possible through money that a collector can guarantee all the juicy gears and items in the tower but in the end like Thunder god said this is the life blood of the game.If no one spend the game will die
