And they have cool perks as well when fused to the max

Also they help you grind the tower as they give you tower stats bonus like health and attack

Its all about phases. If ur just playing for fun then just do whatever and have fun with it. But if ur looking for fun as well as some structure and growth in ur acct, then its always good to take it in phases. Max a few basic golds (which really does not take time)... then once u have a few of them maxed, save all ur souls for a diamond pack on discount day (like black friday they had diamond packs for 200 souls).. thats when u spend it all and get so much value on ur challenge and diamond cards.

Think of it this way.. 3 basic golds with x1.6 multipliers after 12 battles is about 750k to 800k pts? So if u have about 12 basic golds maxed, that itself is 4 full rounds which is 3mill by itself.. and u havent even started on ur challenge golds yet. So theres a lot of oversight over basic golds i think

I was a bit lucky a few days ago. I spent my almost 4000 souls on klassic diamond and MK11 pack. On the beginning I was lucky. I openned 1 or2 klassic diamond pack for no diamond and I got nod diamond but then I did the same with MK11 and I got a MK11 Jade. Now she's F6 with 39470 attack. Then I openned 1 or maybe 2 klassic diamond pack and i got a Raiden. Now F7 and he has 45.5k attack equals my F6 Klassic Liu Kang's attack. 🙂 With his Thunder Lord's Stormweaver he get 50k attack. After that I spent my remaining souls and got nothing usefull. And today I bough an epic Kold War Tower gera pack and I got the Weather Warfare, Missile Gap and General's Father Gun so now I can do brutality with Sonya as well. Cool. 🙂

Countless games have provided the user the options to select quality over performance. Any mechanics underlying a game doesn't necessarily detract from its appreciation if they are revealed.
